To get full coverage when using shellac do people use foil glue then cure for 2 mins? Help please. I only seem to get parts sticking!!!

I've tried both ways and I prefer using my foil glue :) check out shardee shimmer nails on ebay for foil glue.

So just to make sure we do base cure colour, would we do 2 if doing full coverage foil? Cure, then glue, cure for 2 then top and cure?

Honestly the glue will set without curing it. But it set FASTER with the lamp. I do base, color, color (a 3rd color if still not opaque) glue, foil, top coat.

These are some I did today :) ImageUploadedBySalonGeek1390231154.542219.jpgImageUploadedBySalonGeek1390231204.321781.jpgImageUploadedBySalonGeek1390231239.020796.jpg

Do you wipe off the inhibition later before putting the glue on? I'm gonna get the hang of foils if it kills me! Hehe

Yes it creates a kind of embossed metallic pattern.

The main body of the nail has to be dry so either wipe sticky layer or apply additives - then use thin striping brush or dotting tool to apply design - using shellac (Blackpool is best for this) or foil glue - cure and then apply foil - remove any wayward bits of foil using a nail art brush, topcoat and cure - casting :)

It's brilliant stuff! I couldn't do foils either, but all I can say is wait until it's gone clear or cure it for 2 mins and it will work. Promise :) thanks to Maz again for recommending :) xx
