Just wanted to know are there any others like myself out there, do all the building, all the maintenance, supply the money, but get discarded as soon as the salon doors open.
I do enjoy reding the posts and can relate to them as I listen to "the wife" and her girls moaning about the same things.

so come on gents, let me know how you put up with all the tears and tantrums, and does it get better?

haha hubby!! just let me for one say good on you!
I dont have a husband (booo) so i did all that myself! Imagine having to listen to your own tantrums!!!
so come on tell us who the lucky Mrs Husband is??

My bloke did my salon and now has just finished my training centre on another site xx and I havnt even made him my hubby yet
Its not that we blow you out on purpose :smack:
I think its that once you start to work doing something you enjoy, in no time at all you turn in to an obsessed workaholoic  that and you want to make a go of what you started xx

I dont think you have been disguarded its just that Salon are busy places and your wife will be wanting her business to be the best, So no doubt she will be putting all her time and energy into doing this and getting it right. Perhaps take up a hobby yourself for a while or why not join in and help out with the running of the salon or better still get some training and join in lol

My other half is one of these..... but not my husband!

8 weeks in on starting the place up and hopefully he'll be back at his normal day job soon! All arguments aside, he's been a lot of help with the big manly things!

I'd expect he'd probably be on here but he's not got a log on.... yet!

my boyfriend is nice enough to give me his hands to test products when my fingers are full lol, he gives me advice (that's the funniest part) and promote me better than anyone else.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannd he never complains about the smell/talk/whatever
