Oh poor Sam...my interpretation of your dream would be that you want to teach incredible exciting new ideas to the nail industry, but sometimes it scares you how dependant or expectant people are of you...and perhaps you feel people are taking too much of you or that you fear you cannot live up to their expectations????????? Or just maybe you did have too much wine!!!!!!!!!!

I can't stand pedicures - I have a real phobia of feet. Don't know why I just do. My hubby has abnormally long thin feet, oh and hairy toes are another thing.

I agree with Nailz666 I cant stand to do a manicure, all that time for nothing! I understand that a good mani can leave a women feeling good but I just do not like them - I would rather spend my day buffing of l&p and gel and b covered in dust than perform a mani. I love pedis tho just love 'em. Now theres a feeling of Bliss!

I used to hate feet, but i dont mind them now!!!!!!

How did you get over that? I couldn't imagine touching anyone else's feet, probably because I hate mine being touched. Had my first pedicure last year and found that I loved it, especially the feeling of walking on air afterwards.
Any tips you could pass on to help me be able to "do feet" one day would be fab.

Ok So what about feet do you not like? Do you think they will be smelly? is it the toes?

I love doing feet as I know as soon as my client sits in that comfy chair for the next 75mins she'll b in heaven. Most of my clients fall asleep!
There isnt much touching before they go into the spa then when they come out I love getting down to work with the exfoliator and then the massage.....?
Hope I dont sound too keen but there is a larger surface to work on and you can really see and feel what you've done.

For me it is infills at the moment becuase im sooo slow at buffing the gel and removing any lifting.......but once i have gotten quicker at this, im sure it will be alot better. My fav part is nail art, i just love this part to death. I dont mind full sets at the moment...they used to take me 3 hours with gel but i can now do them in 2, so whoo hoo!!!!!!

Pedicures i dont mind either.....i find them quicker to preform and they are good money!!

i like all aspects of nails. I am especially getting into nail art! My least favourite is rebalancing cos I'm not quite there yet (which is why I am still training) Once I have got if off well then I will be fine. At the moment I am never sure how it is going to go!!

i hate rebalancing, need more training as I still get lifting.

I love doing manicure and pedicure treatments.:Love: Theres so many you can offer e.g. hot oil, spa, mask etc. I love doing these treatments because I love having them myself! Theyre therapeutic to carry out and to have done.
I also love doing full sets of l&p, as I like the results. I find infills and rebalance a bit of a chore, but the results are satisfying.

when i was living in Trinidad and Tobago i worked in a spa doing pedicures it was the only job i got after i lost my job at the Casino and i hated it, especially those people with a lot of heel fissures, the fatter they are the more the fissures....yuk!!!

Hi there,
I love my job completely.. Rebalances are great because I am always amazed at how new and beautiful my clients nails are when finished. Fullsets are brill because it is usually women who have no nails or badly bitten nails, so it is great to see how different their hands/fingers look after applying a fullset. Nailart, well - thats what i live for, not enough hours in the day for me ( I LOVE IT ). Manicures (Mmmmm) i do not mind them, but compared to fullsets/rebalances & nailart - i just find them boring !!

I can't stand fill-ins...never have liked them!!!!

I like doing pedicures and full-sets the most...peds because of the look on the clients face during the massage and full-sets from the creativity standpoint, nail art same thing creativity...I love anything I can use my imagination with...Fill-ins eh, not so much.

If I had to sacrifice one treatment it would have to be REBALANCES!!! Don't even mind pedicures as love to see the improvement once finished!! But dislike rebalances as it can be more time consuming than you think at times, depending on the state of the clients nails when they return to you! Even after all the aftercare information you give them lol, ahhhhhhhhhh!!

If any it has to be nail art,i don't really like doing it or how it look,unless it is very simple and understated,saying that i am not really a fan of enamel on my self,so maybe it's the colours that bother me.

me too, yucky. hate old people pedis. I'm dreading when mine get like that.
