i use clippers to trim an area before waxing, i was just wondering what number you's all use for this? i had a man in last night for the full monty and i trimed it altho i think it could of went shorter altho im scared to go very short incase its too much ..

thanks, c x

Hi coleen - some clippers offer different blade lengths despite the comb. I'm a big fan of my number three comb with my shortest blade setting (it's quieter!). This of course might turn out to clip to the same length as a long blade setting on my number 2 comb :) :) I'll try to remember to do some proper testing!!

3 - 5mm should be enough growth for most non-strip waxes. My PR wax grips well at shorter lengths - dependant on the preparation!

Of course - once he's coming back to you every month - it's never a problem!

hth? Jason

I prefer scissors as I find clippers too messy. And it's quicker. xx
