My friend recently discovered her Son was the same. He is Type 1 and is now 8 years old.

He is fine with it now, initially angry and upset 'why me', and his Mum has to really conrol his diet. She found out that the Diabetes explained alot of his behaviour, mood swings etc ..

She gives him the Insulin, I am not sure if he can do it himself yet.. but he still carries on in school almost the same. He played at Tranmere the other day for his school football team :)

You must be very worried at the moment, but in time it will all settle down and you Daughter will cope. And eating healthily can be good for all of the family

Oh hun, really sorry to hear this.
My neice has type 1 and has had is for about 6 years, she's 9 now and has a pump to dose the insulin.

He's only young so it'll effect you more than him so just make sure that you get all the info you need on it from the dr's and i'm not sure but there may be support groups too which will be a great help for you if you're needing to chat.

Hope he's feeling much better soon hun and you find someone who knows how you are feeling to chat about it to :hug::hug::hug::hug::hug:
