Just seen someone write this on their facebook status and it has made me sooooo angry!

"Selling Mac make up....Original and Copied but all very good quality........black eye liners....fake eyelashes.....eyeshadow (limited colours).....limited addition mascara's....get in touch......eyelashes are £3 pound...eyeliners £5 eyeshadows £5 mascara £7........"

This person is not even in the beauty industry!

What do you guys think about this?

PS I dont work for MAC or anything but even still i think this is so wrong!

In terms of people selling MAC products on eBay, my biggest concern would be the people selling the fake/counterfeit products - as they'd probably be of much inferior quality to genuine MAC, and may even contain toxic ingredients!

MAC is one of the brands that does sell to the general public anyway, e.g. at their retail outlets such as Selfridges in Birmingham and via their website.

Yeah thats what i'd be worried about too, you might not even be able to tell wether or not it was geniune! i personally just wouldn't risk it- not on myself and certainly not on anyone else!

This isn't even e-bay though its just facebook lol! And i actually use MAC make-up when i do my clients make-up, and am sure there's people out there that would just buy a cheap set of "MAC" lashes and do them themselves than to get a pro to do their make-up and put them on for them, iykwim. Just annoys me as people like this are putting others out of business- and its prob not even the real stuff!

I know, it's dreadful! Especially if it's the cheap "MAC clones" that they were selling! I know that Sonia has reported eBay sellers that were obviously selling fake MAC in the past, as we're both big MAC fans here... although these days we tend to buy our MAC direct from the official MAC web site...

Original and Copied...

Isn't that illegal? OMG!

Too right! Anything that pretends that it's MAC when it isn't MAC is certainly illegal!
