Hi, I am a qualified NVQ 3 therapist, however although I have had the training I just cannot seem to get to grips witht he warm wax on the bikini line!?! Im totally fine with the hot wax, i just get all fiddly with the use of warm wax :irked:! I always seem to bruise people when using it so have made it perfectly clear you only get the hot wax with me! Any tips would be very much appreciated, I feel so incompatent when I say i dont use it.
thankyou guys!:Grope:

I only use non-strip wax on the bikini. I don't see why you don't just use the non-strip wax as you are getting along fine with this. It's more comfortable for your clients too.
Why do you want to use strip wax if you are getting on fine with the non-strip wax?
Is it just the bikini area you struggle with? If so, then i would just say to carry on using the non-strip wax.
Most bruising is usually caused by not pulling the skin tight enough.
Pull the strip off in smaller sections and re-brace the skin before you pull. Do you use a little oil under the wax? Oil creates a lipid barier and the wax only sticks to the hair and not the skin :)

Totally agree with Angelina in fact, warm wax there, just makes me think OWCH!!
Usually clients ask for warm wax because they've never had hot wax, so just tell them that you use the most up to date methods of waxing for maxim comfort:hug:

Bikini = Hot wax always for me xx

If you use both.....why are you using strip wax on a bikini line.

I get loads of strip waxers coming on my courses and they all start the day saying how they never have any trouble etc etc. However, by the end of the day, they all prefer hot wax and see the benefits of using it on certain areas. xx

Totally agree with the others, I would only use and recommend hard (hot) wax for the bikini line and if you are getting on well with the hotwax then why torture yourself and your client with the warm wax in the sensitive region? Stick with the hotwax and your clients will be forever grateful!
