Wax after spray tan

Hi I wonder if anyone can help

I am tanning a friend on Thursday evening, and she tells me today she is booked to get an underarm wax on the Friday. I know its a bit soon after to be having a wax but she says she cant manage any other time.

Do you think it will cause a prob ad will the wax strip off the tan or what could go wrong?

Yep the wax will strip the tan off. I will wax my legs when i want to get rid of remnants of my tan. Works a treat
I suppose underarms aren't as noticeable as other places but it will strip her tan.

The wax will take the tan off, leaving white patches under her arms, which will look very noticeable, (talking from experience as tried it) I wouldn't tan her Thursday or I shave lightly if I've had a tan but forgot to wax or not had time.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Think I will tell her either to get her wax sooner, or just shave! Not worth risking it looking bad with bright white armpits!

Yep will strip off tan, but if she will not budge lol I have notice hotwax does not seem to have as much as an adverse effect. But thats only if she will not budge on it! lol hth xx

I recently did an underarm wax on a client that had had a spray tan the previous day (not done by me!!).
I explained that the waxing may remove her tan but she was happy for me to continue.
I used my normal pre-wax and decided to also apply talc to avoid the wax sticking too much to the skin - the tan did not appear any lighter after the waxing (I also avoided using my normal after-wax oil) HTH

I dont tend to spray right into the armpit so the wax probably wouldn't affect the tan as there wouldn't be much there anyway.. do you all spray armpits properly?

Yip, I say show me your arm pit! ha ha I only do it when I'm misting so just the once xx
