Hi Guys

I have been waxing for sooooooooooo long but when i waxed my mum she got a spot on her leg. I assumed it was an ingrown hair so was asking her to exfoliate to try to get it out but it didn't work and the spot has got harder and slightly bigger?? I assume now the skin has grown over the infected hair follicle but is there any way of getting it to go? what if it's not an ingrown hair? I'm not sure now thats all....any advice let me know....Lisa

Could be a cyst.
Then again, it could be anything.
Which is why a visit to her doctor would be a good idea.

Thanks but it came up only after i started waxing her legs so it must be that - also theres no pain or anything so i doubt the doctor would be interested. I still think it could be a hair but now I'm wondering how to get to it under the spot of skin : (

Get a sterile tool or needle and break the skin and squeeze it out. x

I wouldnt be sticking anything into it! I had a similar thing happen to me on the back of my leg behind my knee. I squeezed the life out of it as you do, and eventually went to the doctors who told me off...it was a cyst x

You can gently break the skin though. You don't have to stick anything in it.
