I use acetone and a cosmetic pad and then dry with paper desk towel. Mine are glass.

hi there
i just use hot soapy water and scrub it i then dry with paper towel it cleans up quite well xxxx:hug:

I clean my glass one or my CND steel dog bowl one out after every use with the clean monomer used to clean my brush. I give it a good wipe all round with a lint free wipe which works a treat.
If you have decanted some powder into a glass dappen dish and used it, and it's got product set at the bottom, as they do, then I fill mine with acetone to soak for a bit, then use hot soapy water and it comes out clean as a whistle - dry with kitchen roll.

Teeny bit of monomer on a pad, works just fine for me.

In true yorkshire style I am miserly and try to get as much use out of something as I can. As such, to clean out my dappen dish I save the scrubfesh'd lint free pad that I used to cleanse the nailplate during prep, and I wipe my dappen dish out with this.

Usually wipe with whatevers nearest (?) usually monomer liquid.
Unless there are any 'hard' bits of powder stuck - often happens at college with everyone sharing everybody's stuff - then I soak a little acetone in the bottom.

I think this is a very good idea, think I might stick with this one.:)

I use the ezflow dappen dish for my monomer,
It is quite deep, I clean mine out with some acetone on a clean cotton pad but I use my long pincher tweezers not my fingers to hold the pad xxx
Once I have cleaned it out with this pad, I then take some tissue and give it another quick swipe over,
Sounds time consuming but it only takes seconds lol

Couldn't using a pad that had been used on a clients nail plates give a chance of cross contamination if you then used it to wipe your dish out, then refill it to use on another client ??

Mmm good point, and I sposse you could transfer dust particles over as well.

Think I ll just get into the habit of wiping my dish out with a clean cotton pad and scrubfresh after every client.

I do the same as Emms, using Scrubfresh on a pad to clean out any residue or whatnot, then i might go back over it just to get it spotless! Works perfect and keeps it squeaky clean, especially if you need to handle it at all it won't have monomer all over it and helps cut down on acrylic fumes.

I wipe it out with a tissue between every client ..... I never have residue.
I decant the right amount of monomer (or there abouts).

If I have any monomer left in the dish, I put this in a special marked old bottle and keep it just for cleaning brushes (which is also pretty rare).
