i find it depends on how much you charge as you make up has to fit your price.

And what sort of make up your offering ie:
brides
after a facial
proms and parties
or are you a student

there are lots of brands it depends what you want it for and your budgetXXX:)

I mostly use Sacha (an american brand) and Iman (available in most department stores)

I use Rimmel and Maybelline mascara, barry m for dazzling eyeshadows and s color for concealers

Non professional products so not allowed im afraid.Going to hold us all back a bit this isnt it.

I ve been looking at Mineral Based Make-up, I like Jane Iredale, but it does tend to be on the pricey side, it depends on what clients, budget etc...you can spend a fortune, but a few basics will stand you well. Im looking around at the mo so if I come accross anything I will let you all know

I use Make Up Internationale xxxx

I USE A MIXTURE OF MAC, DIOR ,NARS. SCREENFACE AND COSMETICS A LA CARTE DO A GOOD RANGE OF PROFESSIONAL PALLETS .WITH MAKE UP YOU GET WHat you pay for go for a good quality professional products that will last especially when working on brides.saying that for a great funky look try barry m shimmer dust great for teenagers to add abit of sparkle to the eyes.

I would recommend to you Barbara Bort Itailian Mineral Make-up.
:: SPARKLE COSMETICS ::

I am about to rent rooms farly soon and decided on this makeup brand and I wear it myself its very long lasting and would recommend to anyone.

The lady is lovely and there is no minimum start up costs

hope this helps

what about trying royal effem i used these at college and ther are quite good.

Royal Effem - Home

I use the foundations and concealors, eyeshadows, lipsticks, pencils by screenface they are brilliant and because they are made for film/tv etc they do last and have a good colour. I also use a range of products by mac, benefit. There is a brand in superdrug called GOSH they arent a professional brand like mac but some of the stuff they do is quite good, i use the eyeshadows on myself and they have a really good colour.

the spa where i work uses bare minerals make up which is easy 2 work with and popular with clients
