Hey guys. I'm just wondering im fair skinned, im very white underneath a tan, but what solution is better for me?

I use 8% DHA at the moment, and ive recently bought Suntanas cherry 10%. Are these too dark for me?

Hi Dan,

Not tried the soloutions mentioned but xen tan is very good have a look at my pic before & after shots ul see I am very white lol hth xx

I've found that different brands give different results.
An 8% with one brand can come out darker than an 8% with another so it's best to just experiment.
I've never used less than 8% on my clients. I use 8, 10, 12, 14 and 18%.
I've used 8% on pale people and 18%

Hi Sarah, thanks for your reply.

You are about the same as me naturally, its horrible isn't it? lol

I will take you up on your advice, and will buy Xen Tan. Its costing me a fortune in trying to find the right one for me

Im just having problems with the facial area, and neck. They never seem to come out right, but everywhere else does. No wonder people need training

I've noticed that too about different brands giving different results. I am really happy with the 8% DHA Tantrick, its just the facial area where it keeps coming out wrong.

I really wished I could come up and see you for your help

The pics are impressive!..... I used Xen Tan on my Mum & cousin who are both very fair and it barely did a thing!

There was me preparing them for the possibility that they might wake up too dark.... when in fact they had hardly any colour at all

If your pics are really before and after, then maybe I need to give it another go!

Can you tell me where I might have gone wrong with Xen Tan?... It's the first time I've had this happen with a solution!

I just tried a sample of the xen-tan. I really loved the colour on me. (im normaly quite fair, although not white-white). I loved everything about the solution except the one colour fits all solution. How does it do on a dark/olive type skin?

I think the only way to tell is to sample solutions on yourself x

I am very fair. I have just come back from Florida whiter than I arrived because my tan wore off whilst I was there and I have to wear factor 50 cream! I have tried Tantrick 8% and Vani-T 8% and both are fine on me. Vani-T a little darker maybe but still got loads of compliments.

Getting hubby to spray me again tonight so I can go out of the house!

Fantastic last friday i sprayed two spanish ladies, the mom was already quite dark both very olive, you already have an advantage over others with this sort of undertone to your skin. I was anxious about the whole thing but trusted the product,i saw them the following day and they looked stunning! Darker, they were both very pleased

Vani-T do a 6 % which i use on very pale skin. looks really natural on them and not fake :)

Hi Dan,
Maybe get a sample from them first just to make sure you like it. I love it, but I suppose different people prefer different soloutions.
And yeah its horrible being so white  xx

Hi Lauri, yip there the real deal :) lol thats weird it did'nt come out very well, perhaps they were using BAD bodywashes such as dove or imperial leather  you will probably know this already, but it can stop the tan from working properly, and also will strip it right off! maybe they had not followed your advice, and had moisturiser on?
Also when I wash the colour guide off I only use bodywash (Dr Organic its fab) on my face, pits n bits  and just use water all over the rest of me, it keeps the colour better. hth xx

Cheers Sarah

All was good with the pre-tan-prep.

Do you have to double spray with Xen Tan? ... or should one 'coat' be fine?

I get sprayed once but my friend is quite liberal with it lol so probaby ends up spraying a bit more that normal, we trained together and she is fast, close and liberal where as I'm slower at recommended distance and careful  xx

i was told if your pale and want to go very dark that you should do two coats with a 15min wait inbetween, would be nice if someone can test this out....

Thank you and thank you too *sarah*

I will try it out asap.

Quick little update.
Got another sample.. didn't work. So I got another... which did work!
My models were very pleased with the colour, how long it lasted and the fade was good too.

So I am also now offering XEN Tan along side Unreal.
Unreal for a golden tan, XEN for an olive tan.

Have to say that if you guys weren't such lovers of XEN I wouldn't have tried so many times... so thanks. :green:

*I am yet to try a 'second coat after 15 mins'. Will let you know when I do.

I agree, Xen-Tan is one i use on fair skin. For darker complexions however i use sienna x!

I use sienna x 8 % when i just want a nice natural look for through the week and im fair skinned also! but at the weekends il use between 12 and 16% cos i luv being dark :D and iv never been told i look orange even though im pale before and use the darkest ones. i think siennas really natural in all the colours i luv it! xx
