For my salon I want to have a nail products company that have products for manicure and pedicures as well as possibly nail extensions.

At the moment I want to just offer manicure and pedicures and I was going to use Jessica Nails, but eventually I want to do nail extensions again and I'm wondering if its best to go for a brand that can offer all the products and services and customer service is a big thing too.

Any advise gratefully received.

Creative can cater for all your needs...and has the most amazing customer service. Maybe give them a call and ask for some details. x

And you also have Young Nails, NSI and Ezflow to name a few

I would go for Creative as well. :green:
Not only because they offer it all, they also have the knowledge and expertise of years, they´re constantly doing more research, they offer a wide range of education that is needed at some point or another... and their products are of high quality. Also for a customer I would think it is an important factor when choosing a salon, that they use a well-known professional brand.

Well at least these are my personal reasons when choosing, and of course there are other excellent brands as well. :)

sorry i have never used YN...NSI or Ezflow so i have no idea if they do a full range inc mani/pedi range.....i can only recommend what i know

I use Jessica for my manicures & pedicures, which is well known by most salon-goers & a fantastic product with excellent training. However, if you're going to be offering nail enhancements it might be better to go with a company that does all three because by ordering everything from one supplier you will save you on p&p - unless of course you're ordering significant quantities of everything!

OPI ALL THE WAY for me - They have the whole range and the distributors Lena White in the UK are very friendly and helpful. They are the best in my opinion.

I agree; if you're going to offer all the services, then you're best to go with a company that caters for all treatments - it looks more professional, IMO.

You need to look for a company that provides great customer service, and also one who actually knows their own products - drives me insane when people have no idea what they're trying to sell :irked:

I personally use creative and love all the products, they work for me and my clients - but what you should probably do is contact a few companies and see what would work for you.

I do understand the the major brands apply to the above and not just one company!!!!!

The major brands/companys all offer Manicure/pedicure and products for Nail enhancements.

My advise is to call around the Major brands and ask for thier training folio which I am sure you will not be disappointed with. When you have this information you will then make the choice which is right for you.

Hope this information helps.

Interestingly, CND/Creative was the first nail company company to ever offer an entire system for pedicure back in the year 2000 when they launched the famous SpaPedicure system. Until then we all just cobbled things together to give treatments .. a bit of this and a bit of that. SpaPedicure hit the entire industry by storm. The fact that CND SpaPedicure was 3 years in development and used only the finest sustainable marine based products speaks for itself to the quality and efficacy of the treatment. CND collaberated with the internationally known Scripts Oceanagraphic Institute in Southern California and also launched the system from their headquarters. Not just pretty products ... they really work for the clients and the clients love YOU for using them.

Now Creative offer 4 great choices in both Manicure and pedicure. There are the ultimate luxurious SpaManicure and SpaPedicure treatments that really give your salon the feeling of a day or destination Spa and there is also the 'Raw Earth' pedicure and the *new* Almond Spa Manicure which is based on the award winning and well known Solar Oil for which CND is so famous. So enjoy.

You quoted me, so I answer by quoting. :)
I never said that it applies just one company, I merely stated (as you can read later on) that this my personal opinion, as well as that there are other excellent companies too.
So if the question was "which company" then the answer will most likely include a name of a company that the poster themselves can genuinely recommend. And as you can see, we all have our favorites and of course we recommend them!

Thanks for the advice, I was going to look into Creative but wanted other opinions before to give me other options too.

I agree with what you have said that is why I have quoted you. I also agree that this applys to the major companys/porducts.

The point I was making is that there is more than one company out there and some times it is best to do your home work before you make your choice.

In the past there have been people how have made the wrong choice and asked for advice. And yes we all have our fav company but for someone just starting out the best advice is to shop around and see what the market has to offer.

Hey,

no worries hunni! :green:
I am a creative girl but it doesn´t mean anyone else would have to be.
So I understand your point and agree with you, too, I think it is crucial to educate oneself and learn about different companies and their products. If possible, give different companies a ring and ask questions, so one will be able to make a decision themselves. :) That is the only way to find the brand that will be able to provide all that´s needed.
I understood your point, just wanted to clear it, that´s all.

xx
