Just an observation.

Out of All the stars at the Diana concert (which was FAB!) i didnt see ONE person with a 'french' / pink & white enhancement.

It was all short and dark.

I must say i LOVED fergies nails they were dark and silver.

Anyone else notice this?

Has this trend followed on through your client database?

Mine are still the die hard 'french' but i wonder how long for:green:

Most of my clients still love the french look whether its pink & white or glitter tips

Not had anyone asking for full colour nails

I must say, I always try and study stars nails much more than I notice what they're wearing!
I did love Fergie's nails, they always look good. Don't think they matched her outfit very well though!
Didn'y see any french's but unfortunately its not following on in my client base. 98% are die hard french (although a good length and normally soft square now!) even though I try hard to have something different on mine.

DITTO HERE - i think i posted a while back - OH NO not another French!!! LOL

I always try to have something a bit different on like a Pale Blue French or something not too far from the norm that I hope someone will try One Day!!!

i noticed this too amb!!!

i love pink and whites - they look nice and clean and go with anything, although im swaying towards a black french after my hols!! xx

I remember the days when a french manicure or pink and whites were really something special, but since almost everyone is wearing them, the novelty for me personally has worn off.

I much prefer to wear colour french's myself.

PS: Fergie's nails were emerald green with silver tips ... I was at the gig yesterday, so made sure I had a real good look at the video screen to check out exactly who was wearing what on their nails ... I know, I really should get out more!!!

I have alot of P&W fans, some love the coloured tips and glitter. Myself, I love P&W, as Rachy says, it look clean and classic, but I do love a bit of colour!

i would say...98% of my clients have pink and white.

Those that do have enamel tend to have dark colours.

I like to paint my nails sometimes for the weekend, just for a change but soon look forward to removing it and finding my lovely french overlays underneath. x

To be honest, not as much anymore.

Yes, I'm going to end up saying it again like I have done in a few other threads.
Since offering the custom blend, they are more inclined to take this option.

Those who have had custom blend, never went back to P&W (white, white).

Actually even I don't seem to do P&W on myself any more.:)

I only have one client that ahs pink and whites the majority of them ahve short painted or ovals natural but buffed very shiny.

I loved Fergies nails they looked like they were on a diagonal the metallic colour didnt they and loved Ferns in that bright purple colour. in fact loved the whole thing start to finish.

Almost all of my clients have french, sometimes it gets to the point of "oh no, not another french" when someone actually asks for colour i get excited! Amazing how students just out of college can't do a good french polish though.... u'd think they would ensure that they can do it before they send them out into the big bad world!

i would probably say less than half of my clients have french, i currently have black sparkly french which i love. french does always look clean and classy though

Yes, I have to say that ALL of my enhancement clients have french apart from one Calgel client who has the coloured gels.

What do the other 50% have JoJo?

Most of mine are the P&W but i have some who are natural and a few who have coloured tips or even the colour fade.

I rarely have P&W on myself, i love trying different things, so i have the tiger striped tips still.

I think Victoria Beckham is keeping the trend strong, and all the the other WAG's. I have seen her with red and black before though.. so its not all bad.
