Hi everyone, my auntie wanted her nails doing and I thought oh my goodness. Her nails are flat wide and the free edge curves up the sides of her thumbs (like her whites are at the side? if that makes sense) I measured uo for her thumbs and the tips were too small. What on earth do I do!!!!!!:smack: that's me hitting my self doh!

Your talking about my nails!! lol mine are just like that, I`ve never been able to get a tip to fit my thumbs properly so thats another reasaon why I only sculpt, I usually have lovely deep smile lines cos of the sides of my thumbs:hug:

I have just sculpted a set exactly like that tonight. Her natural nails were quite short (probly too short to sculpt to be honest) but I just cant seem to get extensions to lie correcty on her. Luckily she's a friend so I have been able to experiment. I have done hundreds and hundreds of sets and I have to say her nails have to be my biggest challenge yet. Try sculpting if there is enough free edge
Thank you all for your advise, I will have a go at scuplting, not done it much as I can't get to grips with the forms.

Even the largest Eclipse tip will not fit any of these nails, most of these flat pancake nails are FAR to wide for any of CND's, Hawleys, Ezflows .. and on and on... standard tips... which is ... unfortunate.
Eclipse tips are also half a size smaller than the other CND tips as well.
