Have just received my sample of spray tanning solution.
I'm just wondering if anyone has tried it?

I asked for a sample of 10% DHA and was told they only do one colour and it doesn't contain DHA :irked: ha ha, why is it i always manage to get the new person on the phone

So i'm just wondering what you xen-tan geeks think of this solution and if anyone would kindly pm me the price of a ltr of it that would be greatly appreciated.

It smells like you could eat it :) xxx

From what I understand Xen Tan does indeed offer only one shade. Let's put it this way, a Xen Tan spray tan tech who I swap tans with won't have it sprayed on her any more, she wants my Fake Bake instead. And there's no way I was going to try a "one shade suits all" solution on myself, being a bit on the pasty side xx

Hi, I have pm'd you the costs as I have been looking into this too and xen-tan seem to be very up and coming, having read the last post though I am still not sure.

Karen xx

I use xen tan and find the one colour much better .

I havent had any client ever ring me up and say it didnt take, it looked horrible or more importantly, it wasnt darker enough.

Its a great product, smells nice and you wont have to keep swapping % for different people at parties...

Thanks guys, have been sprayed in it tonight. It does smell lovely! I dont think it will be dark enough but will let you know what I think of it tomorrow :) xxx

Hi guys. Have washed it off and moisturised.Hardly any guide colour came off at all. The colour was what I was worrying about and has surprised me. It is a really natural golden brown and has gone onto my face lovely. Under my arms are really sore so not impressed with that. Also I have parts of my body that have taken to it more than others, but to be fair we didn't really have much to work with from the sample. It is probably the equivalent to 10% It's nowhere near as dark as I would have liked but it's nice if you just want a slight tan.
I'm not so sure I would be offering this to my clients as it only has one colour and most of my clients like to be black. It's a bit of a pain that the solution cant be ordered in 1ltr, you have to buy 2ltrs.
Out of 10 i would probably give it 6 for even coverage, 10 for colour,5 for customer service (as they dont really know what they are talking about) and will let you know how long it lasts xxx

i love xen tan lotion ive not tryed the spray tan ..yet!! but if its similar you can put a second coat on after 10 mins and it developes alot darker ! its lush i love it and i hope the spray lives up to the lotion :D good luck with it x

I tried Xen-Tan on a model lastnight and she has called me back this evening to give some feedback. She said the colour was very natural, more brown than orange but that it was also quite light (she is naturally pale). She felt this would be fine for 'everyday wear' but if she wanted a tan for a special occasion she would prefer Sienna X (my current solution). The Xen-Tan had also gone patchy (after one day) on her chest area - she is a teenager and it can be a difficult area if it is oily but I haven't had problems with Sienna X in this area. It also took longer to dry and she said her skin felt 'sticky'.

The info I have read gives good reports on their 'off the shelf' products but can't find many reviews on the spray tan......

I got a sample of Xen tan and i must say its defintly the best I have tryed since st tropez , i am currently using sienna x tan which smells fab but im just not finding it lasts as long and it seems too bronzy to me , but hey some customers love it so cant complain but personally for me i was really impressed with the xen tan , and find it lasts longer , but im not keen on the smell lol but hey that wont stop me using it xx

p.s i went really dark and lovely with it , and i found it very natural holiday colour rather than a bronzy colour :)
