Hi there

I was all set to book a course with NSI using my ILA but now i am looking at training with young nails as the educator is local but they dont accept ILA,whats everyones oppinions on young nails? should i fork out £550 of my own money and train with them or use my ILA and just put something towards it and train with NSI,ive already read most of the threads on this and its everyones got different oppions  just dont want to waste money, thanks

I have had training with both companies & great experiences with each, if your grant means free training if I were you I would seriously consider doing that!

If you wanted to use Youngs at a later date you could always do a conversion course. Hope this helps!

I think they are both very good but if you can get financial help with nsi i'd agree and go with them. x

Yes I agree, use your grant and then convert, if you still want to. It's a no brainer really as both companies are well respected by most in the industry so there won't be any problem with your qualifications. ;)

hiya

youngnails offered me a 2day intense training at Preston course coz I was travelling from Scotland - they also would accept my ILA.

Only thing is you have to go back in 4weeks time to be assessed in Preston

hope this helps

I just emailed and asked the question? I thought they only offered courses in England so it's news to me that they offer it up here?

Best to contact them as the email I have is on my work pc

Hi Pamela,
Thank you for your enquiry into our Young Nails Foundation Acrylic Course, held here at Nail Academy. We do take ILA towards the course; however you need to source this yourself.
I have attached all the relevant information for you to have a read through and send back a deposit along with your booking form. The course is held over 4 weeks however as you are going to travel down from Scotland we can offer you the course on a one to one basis held over 2 intense training days with the assessment day 1 month later.

Any further information you require do not hesitate to contact me via email or at the Salon on 01706 229921.

Kind Regards,

Becky Sawicz

I think they just mean apply to ILA direct as they can't help you with it.
