I've been asked to do some make up for a client who is hosting a murder mystery party this saturday night. She is playing an Oriental 1930's film star and wants too look the part. She isnt Oriental!

I was thinking a pale foundation, red lips, false eyelashes with black eyeliner to bring the eyes out at the corners.

Does anyone have any ideas or do you think this sounds OK?

You will need to exaggerate the 'wing' effect on the eyes with black liner - liquid and very little else on the eyes - perhaps very pale pink matte eyeshadow.

good luck - sounds fun.

Just have fun, you'll be great, it's fancy dress after all!

I am looking forward to it, but Im my own worst enemy - soooooo critical of my own work. I did a 1940's look for the same lady about 18months ago and she loved it. I'll see if she'll let me take a piccie.
