I use Brisa gels and have used the colours with great success.

I build the nail using clear gel or pink and then refine with a 180 file, add 2 thin coats of colour and then the top coat.

Try mixing 2 parts red with one part purple for a classic dark red look and also red, orange and a bit of white for a great coral colour.

Adding the shimmers also adds another dimension - HTH:)

I saw a fantastic new mix of Brisa on Friday on Clara Doon....Blue with a little bit of purple added created a stunning blue shade.

Our clients love to see us mixing new shades to match their enamels, clothes or accessories.

Hi Honey

I have just been looking into Everlasting Manicure/polish and must admit I did look at both Cal gel and Bio sculpture.

Last weekend I was a Excel in London and looked at OPI they have a new range of gels out that are the same colours as the polishes ie loincon park after dark, etc.

Although I am the Scottish Educator for Young nails I have to say I have tried the poduct on saturday on one of my clients and due to do another client on Tuesday and egarly awaite thier feed back.

Why not give them a wee call and ask for some info as I have already said the colours are the same as the polishes and clients do love OPI polishes

Just a few more names you might want to check out....

Akzentz

Light Elegance

NCO London

Pina Parie

Professionails

They all do coloured Gels....some are soak off and some buff off

have you checked out the range of coloured gels from lechat, i dont know of anyone with a better range.
they have soak off or buff off to choose from at very modest prices.
see LeChat UK - Nail Care Products

there are tutorials and pics using the range on my blogspot and web if you wanna see.

thanks you so much guys, ill look into it and ill let you know how i get on , thanks !!!!!
:lol::lol::lol:

Just a quick question - why have you already decided against Calgel and Bio-scuplture? Everyone is obviously going to prefer different gels and what suits one technician won't suit another I know but I just wondered what's put you off these 2 already??

It seems as though you don't care for the soak-off formulations. NSI's Balance UV Color Gels are traditional, permanent gels that come in over 40 different colors that can be mixed for an unlimited palette. They are very easy to use on fingers or toes for permanent polish.

You can view a demo on Balance UV Color Gels - Permanent Polish on the NSI website.

Akzentz has 72 beautiful colors and you can mix them together or use as they are. Endless possibilities.

I use the IBD system and their colored gels, and I have to say that I just love them! They have 48 different colors and a nice selection of glitter gels as well. Just my input. But in the end you have to try and see what works for you and which you like.

Hiya, i was at excel and i was blown away with the gels offered by IBD. the colours were really rich and they appeared to be so pliable. i honestly thought they looked like the best range at the show and i will be buying when i have finished changing my own acrylic systems x.

The new OPI coloured gels called 'Axxima' were launched at Excel and they are FAB I have to say
You''ll need to look at doing a workshop to continue using Axxima, but training is always good.
12 colours to choose from and you can mix to customise your colours too.
The staff were lovely and a pleasure to deal with.

(hark at me.......just wish Young Nails had brought theirs out by now. But watch this space)
