I understand you are frustrated, but don't give up! If you are already using Brisa Lite Sculpting Gel 'Brisa Lite Build It' is not the class to take anyway (it's for natural nail specialist learning to mend broken natural nails, not create full sets of nail enhancements with pink and white). Book in for a couple hours one 2 one with your local CND Ambassador, you won't have to wait till next year for that. I believe this will be the best way to get it just right easily and quickly.

Ladies - thanks for this. I didnt realise I could do a 1-2-1 with an educator as I didnt initially train with them - I will look into this! I do love the product and having used gels in the past, this is the best...its just those flipping whites lol! I have tried the other way round too and just dont seem to get on with it grr! I will keep practicing and contact an educator. Thanks again ladies xx

I've been scrolling and can't find my answer..... I've borrow my sisters brisa lite sculpt kit to play with and having ago now on some pops, I'm struggling with it!! Can you layer it, I.e 2 thinner coats instead of one thick one? X

That is not how you use BL Sculpting gel. You don't PLAY with it .. you attend a class to learn how to use it best; that is the only smart way to do things.

Just wanted to see for my self what it's like as I've heard it's easier to manoeuvre on the nail and a good self leveller so would cut service times. Didn't see the point spending a fortune converting if I didn't get on with it. Thanks for the feedback

Recently had a new client "loose 4 nails" on day five.
It went on well, they looked good, but they just popped off, no lifting on them, not applied near the cuticle and proper Pep done including curette etc.

I have this happen and it was my lamp needs the bulbs replaced!

I have recently done my Brisa Lite sculpting gel course and I am determined to master it, I am getting there somewhat with my pink and whites however as I have been solely practising this I have forgotten the steps to do an extension with forms entirely with clear sculpting gel and was wondering if somebody could enlighten me! After the base coat do I apply clear thinly over the natural nail and make a guide for the extension and then build over that? If that makes sense :|

The way to prevent sensitivity or allergic reaction is by never overexposing your client, making sure gel is applied to the nail and not the skin, following manufacture's instructions. Be sure to read the MSDS for EVERY product you use. Even with products labelled 'hypoallergenic' that label only applies if they are used as instructed, get even a 'hypoallergenic' product on the skin and you are risking a reaction.
Brisa Lite is free of the most common allergy causing ingredients found in most UV Gel systems, just as original CND Brisa Gel has been since it launched almost 10 years ago: acrylate-free, formaldehyde and gluteraldehyde free.
Remember that just because something is labelled hypoallergenic it doesn't mean no one can ever be allergic - it literally means 'less likely to cause an allergy'.

My preferred method is to do it exactly the same way as I would with pink and white, just use clear instead. Though I don't much like using clear in zone one ever as it looks funky from the back once colour is applied - to have an extension edge clear like glass doesn't exactly look natural! I choose to use the Neutral Pink Semi Sheer for all three zones when creating single colour enhancements.

Depending on the condition of her nails and the amount of growth I might soak off the lot, or if i just rebalanced should I file off the shellac then carry on with the rebalance???????She just wants overlay not pink and whites.

Hi Carole x. Yes, you can buff off the Shellac, then re-balance and re-Shellac. X

I have the same problem after few days some nails just fall off.

I attended the course, bulbs ante still good in my lamp but I'm not confident in priding this service as I'm worried that I'm no good at it for some reason x

Im quite the failure with Brisa Lite Sculpting gel too:sad: Only practised on two friends so far, but they literally just fell off... I've done my CND course, prep and bulbs all fine. I realise i prob just need to practise.. Don't have the heart to make them sit through another 3 hr session for more nails that fall off!! Lol. There's always my mum

You need to sculpt with the Sculpting gel. You don't apply it thick or thin like Shellac and it is not painted onto the surface ... You apply it with a structure and an apex and it does take skill and practice to hone those skills. The Brisa lite Removable Sculpting gel is very strong and durable and applied like any other traditional hard gel, it will not come off.

I have just done my master sculptor course using brisa lite and just trying to figure out when doing french sculpted on a form I am pretty sure we did a clear layer first to create the length and then did white then pink, is this correct or am I getting muddled ? or can you just do the white then pink as you would with L&P ? or are both ways correct ?

sorry but I took in a lot of info that day and I did my first full set last night and it just seemed like am I doing an extra layer for a reason or did I just imagine that we needed to do a clear layer first ? haha

Or you can sculpt the white first, flash cure (or i usually cure 60sec) so that the base coat remains not fully cured, then pink

I just watched one of fingernail fixer videos and she didn't use the clear base just jumped straight into the white, I wonder just for structural reasons would the clear need to be on, but on my nail trainer tonight I did it without the clear layer and was able to get it beautifully thin unlike my poor guinea pig model last night who's ended up slightly thicker :o
