Having read the text I think if I got stranded on a desert island I´d find an easier way of keeping a tab of the date! And what if you broke a nail? Does that mean you lose a month!!!!!!!!!

It would only cut into the plate and not as far as the bed, but I would imagine still damaging to the nail,
Also my nails grow really slow so it would be say april for ever lol
