I've been looking around for a double wax pot or a while but I don't want to fork out any money in case I get a dud!

I already have my Clean & Easy roller wax which I love, and I have a Hive 1000 pot for my Perron Rigot wax, but I'd also like a small pot to hold some warm wax in too. My trolley isn't big enough or 3 seperate waxing pots so I need to combine the 2.

Babyliss Pro double Heater in my opinion is awesome and is only about £45.00. I absolutely love it x

I've seen that one I just wasn't sure whether it was any good or not because it was so cheap!

Are the temp controls independent of each other? How long does it take to heat up?

BUMP!

anyone else??

ive had the babyliss one for a few months, its been pretty good. yes they do have independant heater controls. and you can put a pot straight into it, or dispense it into the inner metal pot. HTH's.

x

Heats up my PR wax in about 15 - 20mins maybe slightly faster.

Both sides have independant controls and there is also a secure lid!

Sounds good to me - thanks guys

Hi there, i've been using the babliss one for around 6 months now and it has been relagated to the bottom shelf for emergency pots as we find it far too hot even on number 1. I dread to think of the burns you'd cause on the higher settings!

how strange, i have mine on number 4 and its perfet temp!! it could be affected by the temperature of your room. or maybe the thermostat is broken or something?!

I have strip wax at 4 & hard wax at 1-2 and it is the perfect temp x

We've got 2 pots and they are both the same! Unfortunatly my boss has the reciepts in deep storage and doesnt want to dig them out to get them replaced. Annoying as i like the tidyness of the double pot!

Do the double heaters have a wipe bar on them? xxx

yep, they come with little ineer pots to pour the wax into which have a bar.

if you put the pot straight into the heater you dont get the bar though.

I have the babyliss pro single heater and find it pretty good, I am wanting a double one too and was wondering if this double version was ok, thanks for the info I think I will invest pretty soon:)

I have had the same experience as Lady Stardust. I have just returned a double Babyliss heater as I found the lowest setting too hot. I burned my upper lip with it and thought it was a risk. It is a pain really as the convenience would be great.

I cannot get over how much is charged for double heaters £275 plus. When you look on USA sites they are not this cost even with exchange rate but of course the voltage would be wrong for the UK. I cannot help feeling there is a large gap in the market for sensibly priced double wax heaters over here.irked:

Hello,

I've had two of these awful machines - both returned! Both machines were too hot on setting 1. Thought would be perfect as could have hot wax in one and warm in the other. Never will buy a babyliss item again! Bought a Hive 1000cc and wish I had started with that in first place. Perfect machine giving perfect results!

i think maybe there was a bad batch sent out!!
I bought mine from capital about 2 months ag, and no problems!
