Hi

I normally use NSI Elation clear tips but as I'm trying to get my timings down (it's still taking me well over 2 hours for a full set), I thought I would try the CND Performance tips which have no well, so that I could save time by not having to blend. I noticed though that the CND tips have quite a strong C curve, whereas the NSI tips are made to conform to any nail shape (and I do find that they do). What other clear well less tips are there, which cater for flatter nails?

Many thanks

Hiyah

I was recommended Proimpressions Advance smile nail tips by our very own Angelfingers and I have to admit they are fantastic, they are thin and are suitable for all nail beds.

^^^^^ Agree 100%. I am in love with pro impression tips at the moment...although i have only tried the clear ones...so not sure what the natural ones are like. They are super thin and they do seem to fit most nail beds

I 3rd that, I only use pro impression tips I love them, I havent had any problems with any I have used..I have the clear, white, natural. and french flame..there great and very reasonably priced..x

I use CND Performance tips and they are very thin and I have not had any problem fitting them to all sorts of different nail shapes, they are also matt finish so there is no need to file at all

Great, thank you. Do you know what their website is?

Great, thanks for that. Do you know what their website address is?

i have used these and i have also used some by star nails which are also great and as i live near a sally hair & beauty supplier they are much easier to get a hold of.x

I have just bought these, i got the natural looking ones with no well, so cant wait to do a set to see how i get on with them.

xx

Hi i use the star nail crystal clear and i find them a perfect fit for my clients:)

I've used both CND Performance tips in clear and also Pro Impressions Advanced Tips in natural (both well less), although the Pro Impressions ones are cheaper I think you can tell the difference of the quality, the CND ones are (although very thin) more sturdy and have the shine already removed from them. I have flattish nails and had no problems using either of these brands on my own nails but preferred the Performance tips.

I use both CND & Pro-impressions with no problems x

I love pro impressions and what I do is nip the ears off with a pair of clippers for flatter nail shapes. this takes 2 seconds then remove the shine and no blending I love them!!!!

Even though you may have noticed a strong looking C curve to the CND Performance tips, the material is very thin and flexible (also very tough and durable) which means that they fit any nail shape from curved to flat. I have never had a client nail shape that I have not been able to fit with CND Performance tips. HTH

That's great, thanks Geeg. I was worried they wouldn't be suitable for flatter nails but you have reassured me.

Hi Tracey - I have these too, and just can't get them to lay properly on the natural nail! They either leave a ridge, or a dip at the join, what am I doing wrong?

The Star Nails ones that you have are probably like the box I picked up recently to try them out, they're very thick plastic and feel like what they are, cheap tips!
To get them to fit properly you'll have to buff them to thin them down before applying.

One million % agree! CND's Performance tips, rock! :)

yuep performance for me too...
I have kind of squarish c-curve, but can still fit them, unlike other well-less types I have tried.
