Worth the investment I've heard it's amazing of your skin hair nails face etc x

I've been using coconut oil for 2 months now. I use it after showering. I penetrates quickly into the skin leaving behind a slight sheen. The smell is light too. I also use it on my face when it gets dry from using acne products. It sounds stupid to put oil on oily/combination skin, but coconut oil doesn't clog pores. I actually sometimes use grape seed oil to cleanse my skin. I put coconut oil on my hair also. I usually apply it to dry hair, leave it on all night then shampoo it out in the am. My hair is curly, dry, color treated and frizzy, but when I put the oil in it, it looks sleek and smooth. I've actually had people comment on how lovely my hair is. It's also good for lips and cuticles.

When my skin is dry and ITCHY, the coconut oil calms the itchies! :)

I love coconut oil, so good for you. when in the UK I have used viridian virgin coconut oil.

I use it for dry skin and for my son too, also as a hair treatment. I have oily/combination skin and it works for me.

I love coconut oil for body treatments and when I do lomi lomi massage I always use coconut oil. I get lots of my oils from Baldwins and they have a few coconut oils to choose from: Search results for: 'coconut oil'

I use it as a leave in when its really dry, either pre shampoo or overnight if its really needing tlc! I have quite thick hair so it's good for me, I have even used a bit on the ends and left them as you would serum or other oils.

A skin specialist said that PURE coconut oil is the only thing that gets rid of fungal toe nails.

It's nice on hair been trying it recently and hair feels good
I use it before a treatment on myself then rinse

make sure its PURE 100% coconut oil .. anything else will have chemicals in it and you just want the natural stuff :)

I buy virgin organic Coconoil from Amazon - its amazing!

I bought some coconut oil after reading this thread.

I have put it in my hair overnight twice and I think it has made my hair so much softer and shiney too. I also put it on my face and rubbed it into my hands.

Thanks for the post :D

I swear by coconut oil too! I've been using it for years. I use the solid form for my face , and body. I also use it for my scalp( I have dreadlocks so works a treat :))

I don't use any other moisturiser for my face other than the 100% coconut. It definitely helps with evening out skin tone and wrinkles.

I also purchased some after reading this thread my son suffers with mild patches of dry skin so I've been adding it to his bath and its clearing up lovely

I LOVE coconut oil, have used it for a long time normally at night on my face and occasionally for my hair just cant get enough of the smell. My skin is definitely better for it. Its supposed to be good for cooking with too but only done this once or twice.

And when I rub in my solar oil for my nails I often go to bed smelling of a bakewell tart, haha!

Is it good for ingrown hairs? I'm sure I heard it was xxx

Could you use it for massage?, say hot stones or Swedish as I love the smell and think it would be lovely in a treatment.
