Im in love with the pro impressions tips but really unsure which tips to use. I am new at practicing my smile lines and was wondering if its suitable to use the white french smile tips but still overlay the tip with white acrylic? If i was to do this in pink or clear i would only have to do it in white later on when maintance is due also leaving a visable layer when looking down the barrel of clear then white...surely???
I really want to stick with doing my own pink and white because i want to go onto sculping soon so would it be suitable using white tips and white powder or should i stick with the natural tips???

There are alot of threads on here with everyones favorite tips but they dont state everyones favorite colour of tips and powders used :| x

Like Tracy said, you can practice your smiles using natural tips, you can also do that using white powder over white tips if you want to.

Do you mean at the edge of the free edge?
If you thin zone 1 down during rebalancing then you shouldn't have a colour difference, or at least not one that's too noticeable.

I use natural and clear tips and have a few different tip styles to accommodate all nail shapes.

I think if you are wanting to practice creating a smile line in white powder then I wouldn't do it over a white tip. The reason I say this is because I don't think it helps you to create a smile line as you will just follow the smile of the white tip. I think it's much better to practice on a natural tip because it will helps you learn to create your own natural smile line. Then when you get better at it you can make deeper ones when you need to. :)

I've not quite cracked it yet but still trying.. :)

I wouldnt use white i would use natural hun

Thanks for all your replys i will keep practicing with natural

Just a thought, when using natural or clear tips you can also see where your client's natural smile line is and that is a good guide to what shape you want to achieve, of course you neaten it up and enhance it a bit without it looking unnatural. I am not very good at explaining things
