About as far South as you can get!
Hiya :)

Does anyone know if this is even possible on my little laptop without any expensive specialist downloads or equipment? I wanted to put my pricelist onto Facebook but it's only allowing me to upload picture files, so I need to convert my MS Pub to one of these.

Thanks for anyone's help. :) xx

I'm not brill with the PC but i would print off a price sheet and scan it and save it as a picture,
that way you will be able to upload it as a picture to face book without having to buy any software (if software was needed ?) hth

Which version of publisher are you using hun ?
Some do have the option to save as a jpeg apparently lol...so I just read hahaha

or I found this too.....

Open the publisher document (you can only do 1 page at a time I think!)....select all, then click "group", copy it, open Paint (or possibly something else similar) and paste. Now it's a paint file you can save it as you wish!!!

God knows if it will work...but its worth a try !
Let me know hun, Ill carry on looking for you x

Ooooo another thing you could try if all else fails is to take a screen shot of the page (if it fits on one page...)
Then paste it into paint, (hold down ctrl and V at the same time)
Then just crop the part you need and save as a jpeg ...could work...

When you go to 'Save as' you should get a command box appear.... you get to choose the name you want to save the file under 'File name'.... below this there is another drop down box 'Save as type'... you can then choose to save your publisher doc as a either jpeg, GIF or PNG.... I have Windows Vista and use Microsoft Publisher 2007 so not sure whether this is the same for earlier versions....

Hope this helps!!!

If all else fails, and you can display your entire price list on the screen at once, just press the "print screen" button and then paste into the graphics software of your choice... whatever happens to be on the screen at that time will end up in the image, and then you can crop the bits you want...

Thanks for all your replies, I was getting really frustrated as I knew it could be done somehow!!! Thing is, the more frustrated you get the less your (my) ability to think straight becomes

I went with Claire's advice (thanks hunny :))

I just saved the files to JPEG's and uploaded them fine

Thanks again. xx
