Hi, after using OPI all through college I had decided this was the product I was going to use but after reading all the comments on here I have decided to invest in the Creative range instead. Can anyone let me know which is the best base and top coat in the range as there seems to be a few.

Thanks

I use Stickey as the base coat...

and Super Shiney as the topcoat...

I've not tried the others in the range to compare...I have just stuck with those two as I liked the results from the start and have never changed xxx

I love love love Stickey & super shiney but have also just discoverd UV Dry which is brilliat for clients that are in a rush only thing is you need a uv lamp. Hth's xx

Ditto to mercedes69! :green:

Well of course it´s Stickey I use as the base coat. But then there are several opinions on the best top coat. Personally, I use SuperShiney as well, as I find it delivers all the goods and does exactly what it promises - the end result is amazingly shiny and gorgeous!

Then there´s AirDry which I hear is fabulous. Have not tried it yet, although it´s on my shopping ist. I also have an old-ish bottle of UV Dry but CND doesn´t do it anymore. It was kind of cool to have it and be able to cure it under the UV lamp, but truth to be told, it´s nowhere near the shininess of other CND top coats.

So I say go for it! Try them, and make up your own mind. What works best for you is up to you to decide. Then again, when it comes to these CND babies... You really can´t go wrong.(Sorry, I just loooove my precioussss.. oooh those pretty things.. :green:)

I love Stickey and Air Dry! HTH! :)

I have all of them - different ones suit different clients. However, Stickey is the base coat I use the most and I use Air Dry and Super Shiney equally! Hth xx

thanks guys so much for your replies you have all been really helpful xx

Stickey - is a soft sticky base coat that perfectly anchors polish to the nail (enhanced or natural)

Toughen Up - a base coat and nail toughener used for natural nails that helps to cross link the nail keratin for added strength and toughness.

Ridge Out .. a perfect base coat for natural nails or enhanced nails when the surface is not quite perfect.

Super Shiney .. a fast drying, protective high gloss top coat.

Air Dry ... An even thicker super fast drying top coat ... very resistant to wear and tear.

I prefer air dry much more than super shiney. Ridge out is fab for base coat, when nail surface uneven. HTH xx

Is speedy top coat good too Gigi or is that a dumb question:eek::lol:

I ask this as i have it but it does not give a full gloss like super shiney, however it is still cool to the touch, but has a thinner viscosity.

Otherwise i use all the base coats and top coats, depending on the client's nails....i like client's to get to knowwhat i use then it gives them a feel of customisation rather than "just another run of the norm base and top coat":green:

Speedy is a fast drying top coat, but it is not protective or super glossy. It gets the client out the door but they then need to add a further top coat later for protection. I am not a huge fan of Speedy for use as a top coat on it's own and that really is not it's function, but is does serve a purpose sometimes and is great for over airbrushing to seal it quickly before the final top coat.

Stickey and Air Dry are my personal favs ;)
