hi guys,

i havent yet been on training with cnd and looking forward to when i have the funds asap!
But i just wanted to know from those who trained with cnd... when you train you obviously use the creativive products... but once you have passed the course and continue on with your nails how many stayed with creative supplies?? and how many of you tried different branded products? and if so which ones did you try and your opinion on the product?

:p
just wanted to be nosey !!

I trained with Creative, seems like yonks ago LOL. I thought I knew better and armed with my new skills I could do great nails with lower priced products - I tried NSI, No Lift Nails and some other generic products.

In the end I returned to Creative products as a friend of mine who I trained at the same time as, had continued with her products and had way fewer problems than I was having.

So the moral of the story is stick with what you know works. In the end, my less expensive products cost me more as I was doing more repairs.

No harm in being nosey LOL.

I originally trained with creative,
then like yourself i wanted to have a nose around so trained with nsi and ezflow,
i have always gone back to creative for products and training as i found these to be the best that was out there hth
and yes my other products sit gathering dust and reminding me of how i wasted money

I did the same as fiona. As a trainee tech I thought that all the products were the same, but you paid for the name with some of them. I tried some cheaper generic products, I also tried NSI, and they were nowhere near as good, and I promptly went back to my Creative products and have stayed with them ever since.

Still though, I would recommend that you get some samples of other brands just to give them a try, not because you might want to use different products, but because it will show you just how superior the Creative products are, that way when you tell your clients that you are using the best products available you can say this with first hand experience.

I trained with Creative In L&P and went on to do Brisa gel and the Spa mani/pedi course. I have always been more than satisfied with the products and have no reason to change.

I have seen and worn other products used by friends but prefer the Creative products and as they say 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' :)

I have been using CND products for 15 years.
I use my training every time I do acrylic nails or a pedicure!
I have trained with too many to mention(-at trade shows etc) and nothing especially stuck with me, but Creative motivates me every time.
I wouldn't use another acrylic system.(I have tried a bunch!)

after i trained with cnd i stayed with the product for a good while and had good results.
i then had the opportunity to train with the original entity team in the usa and found the entity range brilliant to use and i have not looked back. it was the best training i have ever had.

I trained with Creative and loved it. I have sampled other products but always gone back to use creative. The only thing I have changed is my brush as the nsi one I have now is lovely to use. Not that there is anything wrong with creative brushes, I think it is just down to what works best for you.

It is good to try out different products to see what is best for you, but virtually every nail tech I know who trained with creative sticks with creative.

I originally trained with another company and this year converted to Brisa and also did the Spa mani/pedi course. I love the products.

I have tried other gels in the past but have found nothing to beat Brisa. I enjoy working with it and love the results. However I wouldn't close my eyes to new products if I thought they'd suit me or my clients better, but there would have to be a good reason to change.

As Adele said, if it ain't broke don't fix it.:)

hello, i am hoping to do the 5 day liquid and powder course at creative in plymouth. after this, where do i go from there? i am then able to work in a salon doing nails? or do i need further training?! hope sum1 can help

I use both creative & entity ........

I use more entity at the moment as i found it easier to work with, but i think this may be due to me getting better skill wise!

CND products & training are fantastic x

I started my training with another company and then converted to Creative and continued my training with them.

I have also explored other prominent nail brands but have found that Creative meet my needs and those of my clients the best.

Don't worry hun, you will get all this info on your training course,
on day 5 ask your educator what she thinks you are capable of doing and follow her advise, hth
everyone is different and learns at different speeds, you may be ready after the course to go straight out and work, be that in a salon or mobile for yourself or you may prefer to do some skill building classes, only time will tell hun and your educator who has seen your work is the best person to advise you

oh ok thank you for that. Im excited bout starting my course!! x
