There has been several threads on here recently which questions whether 'shellac damages the nail'. That some of you has experienced on yourself and your clients some white spots after wearing Shellac.

Conclusion:
Shellac does not damage the nail.
Nail technicians themselves damages the nail sometimes even without realising.
 
Interesting article to read, as always Doug tells it simply and clearly.

I do'nt use Shellac or coloured UV gels at the moment but do use gel for extensions so this article was still interesting and informative for me.
