Hi,
I cant see why u wouldnt be able to use cnd cuticle remover before using Ezflow l&p as you would rinse it off .
Ezflow do teach the "dry" prep method though, and say you dont need to use a cuticle remover before applying their products.Sometimes though i have found that ive needed to use a cuticle remover and ive not had any problems !!
I will say though that when i was on my Ezflow courses, my educator did say they have found that CND'S scrubfresh can cause lifting of their products, so i would just stick to using their prep products or try it out for yourself and see if you get any problems.
I personally just stick with using the prep products that are designed to be used with that Brand, it just makes it easier for me.
Maybe someone else who uses scrubfresh with Ezflows l&p and will be able to tell you otherwise as i havnt actually tried it out myself.

Hazel is spot on......
we recommend dry prep and to use your ezbond and primer when prepping as thats what they are designed to do............ scrubfresh will cause lifting and if you are doing correct ezflow prep you shouldnt need to use another product

as an FYI Jess... Scrubfresh can't cause lifting! It is designed specifically to prevent it and plenty of EZ / NSI / OPI users use Scrubfresh during PREP with absolutely no problems. Don't get me wrong I am all for using systems but I had to comment on the above.
FYI Cuticle remover is now renamed cuticleaway
True cuticle skin which grows up the natural nail (hitches a lift), is much better removed before application of any product as L&P, gel etc are not designed to bond to skin. As the true cuticle is pretty much invisible to the naked eye, cuticleaway is designed to assist you in the removal process.
After use it is removed with soap and water and is therefore suitable for use with any system.

You should either use plain water or water with a little Citrusoak but not soap as that has oils in it
Cuticle Remover needs to be deactivated once it's done it's job.
I would say plain water will not do this effectively.
Water and a little CitruSoak or any of the CND Scentsations hand and body washes will do the business.
I feel it's fine to use soap! Yes it contains oils, but why is that a problem???
You will be removing shine and then thoroughly ScurbFreshing the nail plate next, so the oils in the soap should not cause a problem.
The lesson here is that you should stick to systems. EZ Flow have their prep routine for and CND have theirs. Intermixing systems makes it a real challenge to help diagnose breakdown (i.e. lifting). If you like EZ Flow product, use the prep system they recommend. If you like CND products, use their prep system!
FWIW, I can't see the logic in a product that is designed to remove something causing lifting (ScrubFresh or CuticleAway). ScrubFresh removes oil, moisture and contaminants. The only thing it leaves behind are pathogen fighting agents to help combat greenies. Not sure how on earth that could cause lifting. CuticleAway removes the cuticle from the surface of the plate and is significantly more effective than a dry removal. The whole reason you need to rinse (with a detergent like soap, or CitruSoak) is to remove the thickening agent that CuticleAway contains (this is to add control and a safety mechanism to prevent an accidental splash). If you don't remove the thickening agent with a detergent, then there is a probability you will be contributing to lifting regardless of what system you use.
So... I can't understand the logic of either of these products causing any system to lift. In fact, I couldn't think of a better way to prepare the nail plate and make it free of cuticle, oil, moisture and contamination.
Anyhooo... that beeith my two peneth
