Geeg's book, what a difference it has made to my nail application.

I don't do L&P or Gel and even I bought the book Lol!! I have still read through it and if I do ever decide to train to offer these services it will be right by my side for sure. The painting tutorial at the back has helped me loads though and the class I did with Geeg herself. She is definitely someone to aspire to. In fact, what a talented family on the whole. We are very lucky to have their help and knowledge, mostly for free on here! :wink2:

Agree completely!!!! As an industry we are extremely lucky to have Geeg, Mr and mrs Sweet, S2 and Salon Geek. Its not only a forum but a family that provides support for all the fellow geeks. I would be completely lost without out it and would have probably given up with a few things by know if it hadn't been for SG

Could I just ask if this book is worth the purchase if I dont do acrylics or Gels. I only do Shellac and your standard manis?!!

Lol I did exactly this today !!! Arrived to "boring pays for the products and training" office job and there was no way I could wait until I got home to have a peak!!!!!

I Currently only offer natural nail / Shellac but will be training in Brisa so thought it couldn't hurt to do a bit of research!

I ordered mine yesterday from mundos, no delivery charge and it arrived today, I've read it already - what a keeno! It's very concisely and plainly written so very easy to understand. A valuable asset I would say, full of useful tips and info :lol:

Nailclass is a workbook not a novel lol! Best not to just read it, but to work through it chapter by chapter until you are using all the techniques perfectly. .. Otherwise it won't really help you very much. X

It is mainly for learning the techniques for doing the most fabulous L&P and Gel nails but it does have a painting section at the back which I found so helpful. I don't offer any kind of enhancements, just natural nails and still ordered it

Would definatly recommend if you only specialise in natural nails as it has a section about prep, eg cuticle removal and a section on perfecting your polish application, i would say its a book designed to help all nail techs not just those who do extensions x

Yeah...know what you mean about that blooming website. I am surprised my husband hasn't blocked it yet...he thinks I am on a one woman mission to bankrupt us :lol:
