How NOT to get an arch in your eyebrows!!

Hey guys,
Just thought I'd give you all a laugh. I have been renting a room in a hairdressers now for about 3 months. One of the wee trainee hairdressers gets me to wax her eyebrows for her. She has very straight brows so there's hardly any arch there - but I worked with what I had and got them looking good. She was really pleased but told me that in the salon she previously went to, the therapist (I use the word loosely!) told her that if she wanted an arch in her eyebrows, to STICK SELLOTAPE TO HER FOREHEAD AT NIGHT AND STRETCH HER EYEBROWS UP WHILE SHE WAS SLEEPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Words just fail me!!!!

My response is like Michelle.

OMG its like the film "Little Women" (original version many moons ago), one of the girls put a peg on the end of your nose thinking it would tip upwards! What are these people like advising others, not professional at all!!! To get an arch in her brows she would need botox or a brow lift, not sellotape!!!

well, my youngest daughter's ears used to stick out when she was younger. My nan told her to sellotape her ears when she went to bed each night.

OMG!! this gets better:lol:........i noticed from other responses she didn't do it ..thats about as bad as an old beauty treatment for dry skin my granny used to say helped in cold weather by ...applying last nights mashed tatties to your face for 10 mins as a mask ! :lol:

my mum used to pin my younger brothers ears back with celeotape to stop him curling his ears at night ....ohh for gods sakes my sides hurt with laughing at this thread:lol::lol::lol:
