I know that many of you are looking forward to Christmas and, particularly if you have small children around, I can understand it.

I just want it all to be over, all I am looking forward ti is my Christmas lunch with sprouts, chestnut stuffing and a champagne cocktail.

To me the rest is just work and expense.

So I am fully embracing the the 'Bah humbug' approach and would like to wake up on January 1st.

Who is with me ?

Although I do have a 10 year old daughter who is very excited about xmas, so im trying for her sake lol

Ditto!!! although its a great excuse to buy one of those puddings that iceland are advertising and stuffing it all myself - all in the name of Christmas!!!

Boxing Day morning hangover....long walk along the river bank, hopefully frost or snow, then back with the family for a big cooked brekkie made by hubby.... telly and snoozing for the rest of the day what's not to like?

Well adelekeeganebeneezerscrooge1 I love it love it love it and allthough i plan on enjoying this year more than ever with our little man,i'm already looking forward to next year when we'll be a 4 instead of 3 ........ Lee is too,so much so he's already said he's not off out on the last day of work next year cos it will be the little one's first xmas I've rubbed off on him :lol:

I kind of love it and hate it!

I am looking forward to spending the day with my family.

I love the fact that I get to eat more and drink more.

My hub cooks splendid food and I get to lounge on the settee.

Master Chick is gutted at the moment as he found one (of his many) santa lists in the bin. I told him I'd already sent his santa letter off, but according to him, the one in the bin was the "current" one! LOL! He's 10 so think this is the last year of believing.

Even Mr Chick seems to have got into the swing of things this year and took it upon himself to write all the cards and post them.

Got got turkey to buy and we are sorted.

So move over Adele, and wiggle your bootie "jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way" "rocking around the christmas tree"

I haven't voted yet as I normally love Christmas but this year I am so unorganized, so not loving it at the moment. I'm not going to manage to get any more shopping done until tomorrow and Sunday and then the town will be full of people like me doing the last minute bit:irked:

Adele, as you are world leader is there any chance that you could make Christmas a little later this year so I can get organized? :lol:
