ladies how do clean ur oven? i heard you have to turn the heat on high or something like that?

Well i use a 'husband' ........... works a treat lol

lol lucky u my husband is to lazy

Good oven cleaner and lots of elbow grease:green:

Best way would be to follow your manufacturers instructions - different ovens need different treatment. It is all down to learning what is best for the product you have.

I try avoiding cleaning our oven as much as possible lol :green:

My instructions say "your double oven is self cleaning" and to do this "turn on full untill very hot"

And guess what happens, it smokes and makes your eyes sting lol

I now use Mr Muscle on a cold oven, light spray over and leave for a few hours, then put the rubber gloves on and use a soft scourer and a cloth in piping hot water and remove the foam.

Looks lovely and shiney.

For the shelves i use those bags you can buy, place the shelves inside and leave, take out and rinse...jobs a good un :green:

hi everyone..
I use any oven cleaner, but i put my oven shelf in a bin liner and spray with oven cleaner give it a shake leave for couple of hours. rinse off brand new,
thg:)

One thing you could do is put a dish of water in the oven with a bit of vinegar, turn it on til it warms up and then -in theory - you should be able to use hot water to wipe off the muck inside.

I just cannot get the hang of cleaning our oven it's very neglected! The fan has now packed in and i'm sure it's because its all gunked up!

I've tried every oven cleaner going and all it does is smoke and smell and makes the food 'taste' for days afterwards even though i'm sure i've rinsed it all out. :irked:

The only thing that has worked for me was the nice man from 'Oven-U'

Sorry...I dont know...:sad::o
I dont clean my oven because it haves a system of which I dont need clean :wink2:

I use a professional cleaner, About £70 but well worth it, looks like brand new when finished inside and out

xxx

I must say i like the husband cleaning oven !!!..........go to a supermarket and et a cleaner for oven......use elbow grease (HARD WORK!!!) and get scrubing ....works for me :green:

I allways spray with oven foam and leave overnight.....then clean in the morning.

I have Self-cleaning oven.I just press CLEAN button and walk away.Only thing is ,you can't use your stove for 2 hours b/c all the elements are locked for safety .It heats up to 750C and when it's done you just wipe the inside with wet dish cloth.

My element has just blown after a power cut so while i was waiting for it to be repaired i bought one of those oven magic cleaners.

Wow it really is magic.

I clean my oven every month so to me it wasnt that bad but this product showed me that there was still plenty to be cleaned!

You plase the shelves in the bag and then pour the solution in (leave a little back for inside the oven if that needs cleaning)

Leave for around 2-3 hours saking or turning occasionaly and then remove and wash down with warm water.

I know what i will be using from now on and at ony £3.99 it dont break the bank.
