Latest advertisement.....

I have just done a local advertisement for all hotel concierges in the area as well as being put on all noticeboards in local apartment buildings. ( I don't do letterbox drops, I find them offensive)

In the last 6 months I have had 3 NSS open in close proximity to me. To be quite honest they have actually promoted my business accidentally by doing such shoddy workmanship, with a steady flow of less than happy clients along with their "rings of fire" visiting me for a better solution. I also charge more than twice the price of the NSS.

I don't really need (or can cope) with many new clients, the whole purpose is to almost "frustrate" the cheapies into how crap their nails actually look.

It's a little "tongue in cheek" in some areas, but to be quite honest, I'm a little bit pissed at the influx of less than scrupulous salons popping up all over the place.

I love it, it's a great advertisement and well worded. Should bring you some new biz.

There is only one bit I find slightly puzzling, and that's where it says "you can have nails that look real" and "natural looking enhancements". Because then I scrolled down and saw your signature and the porn star nails in the "and on the seventh day God had her nails done" part.

Just that, as much as there is a market for nails that look like that, they don't look real or natural to me.

But I do like the ad anyways.

Hopefully the ad will send "truly interested" potential clients to my website ...... and when there they can see for themselves the work I do, which , unfortunately does include "porn star" nails, but I manage to convert most of them to a more natural look.

Having spent 20 years in the advertising industry (local press, national magazines & radio), putting together & wording peoples ads, I can honestly say that you've done a cracking job on this one Carl.
It's very politely pointing out the importance of their choice & what they actually can expect if they make the wrong choice.

I see so many nss nails these days and I was almost on my soapbox in my local supermarket recently, when I bumped into an old colleagues' wife, who had some nasty appendages hacked on to the ends of her fingers!
I got so passionate about it, I think she thought I'd lost the plot!

It's such a shame that people think it's ok and correct to sit thru 40mins of pain & potential infection and end up with those samey looking nails.

I may just copy & paste it for future reference!:lol:

There is a market for all types of nails and it's important we can offer a variety of "looks" lol.
