Client from this afternoon, Just looked at my pics that I took and was suprised with my LOL.
She was really pleased with them as she had a nasty set of MMA (God I never want to remove another set of those, and hour and a half to remove 6 fishy stinky nails)
Let me know what you think, I had the file song going through my head and it looks like it has paid off.
Jen xx

Well done for getting rid of the nasty fishy nasty smelly thing eeerrrggghhh!

I think these do look very natural, but there is a bit of a difference with the smiles and a whiter colour a bit further down?
I'm not a Brisa experienced tech as yet - but I've had a play with my Event kit.
There looks like some natural free edge showing and some white - is it natural tip colour? showing?
Lines of light are looking quite spot on on a good few of them Jen, that song has etched it's way into my filing routine too -no bad thing!

Yeah hun, its natural fe, she didnt want P&W just the natural tip so there was noting I could do about her free edge showing I only have the pink in the kit no opaques yet, she didnt want me to polish them either just leave them as was as she wanted to spend the night looking at them.
She was really pleased I wasnt with the natural FE but what could I do what the client wants the client gets.

Ok, I understand what you're saying - as in you did a nno without adding any length to the nails with tips! I must of read it wrong & thought you'd done it by adding 'natural coloured' tips!
Excuse me Jen, sorry for the mix up!
You still did a great job on her and I bet she's gobsmacked at having a beautiful set rather than the NSS cloudy, yellowy, fishy 'everyone's got the same shape nails' on cr@p.
I bet she'll be a mega loyal client now:hug:

No hun it is natural tips over her nails with brisa overlay. the difference in the smiles I dont quite understand other than the length of her own nails under the tips. She didnt want me to file what was left of her nails(FE) down too much, there were not many left with any length anyway, a few of them had snapped to below her hypernicium.I guess that this is where the difference is coming from.
I attatched natural tips to what was left and applied a brisa overlay.
The tips were blended really well. I guess the marking that you may be talking about could be from the damage caused to her nails by the MMA that she had on her nails and the damage where they had lifted and took nail plate with them.
I couldnt take much more of her nail plate off, I just removed the shine from the re growth and tried to even the white marks as much as possible.
She had a visible step where her new growth was and the the old mma.
Her own nails were also extremely flat and the thumbs to the point of being concave.
I was really pleased with the result, the pictures dont do it justice really
HT makes sense.

I get what you mean....i have a client who wanted exactly the same....wanted a natural looking set. I tend to use natural tips and a clear or pink overlay (with l+p as i dont use gel). Thinking of the long term ....as in aiming for a NNO there is nothing you can do i dont think to hide that join in the nail as it is pointless in cutting it back. Unless you use an opaque powder i supose???...but it is only short term ist it.
My mum has quite yellow nails and it is alot more noticlable on hers as the natural tips look white up against them.
I tend to offer a french polish....using CND cold shoulder of the tip...
I think you have done a fabby job jen....they look lovely.....thet fishy smell makes me gag....ughhhhhh!!!!

I think you've done a lovely job, especially so given what you had to work with initially. I'm not surprised your client didn't want them polished so she could look at them, they must be so different from what she had before. Well done! xx

I think these nails are beautiful hun...
I know what a nightmare you had with these to begin with,
You have done a fantastic job

The line of light on that pinky is spot on !!

The smile is obviously unavoidable as it is the clients own free edge there, you haven't created the smile line,...

I have had clients like this too, They look VERY natural, the shape compliments her hands lovely

Job well done hunny  (and worth every penny :wink2: xx)

They look great to me but I have to say I'm not Brisa trained yet.....

what's the filing song, could you explain....?
