I'm just about to start offering microderm and skin peels and I need a pro range of spf 30 cream for faces. My lovely Swissdermyl products have an spf of 15 so it's not enough for post microderm clients.
Anyone got any recommendations?
Thanks ever so much!

I can recommend Sothys which I have used professionally and personally.

They're around the price point of the SwissDermyl range and there's more than one product in their suncare range to suit a number of skins including those with tints to match various skin shades.

Regards,
V.

Ah yes, Sothys, but I wonder what their opening order value is

Theraderm do a Platinum SPF 30. Check out Optisol but I do not know if they are still going 01405 860551.

Dermalogica has a solar defence booster which can be mixed with moisturiser to increase its SPF. When used on its own it has an SPF30:cool:

P8N8 - Anti-ageing Oxygen Skincare do an spf30 cream and also an spf40 foundation.

The foundation is actually very sheer, which suits some people, but can also be layered for those that need more coverage. Only 3 shades though.

Decleor do an SPF 15 & 30, which you can buy at retail price, but then I doubt that will much use for you!!

Dermalogica is very good as is has a whole range dedicated to sun protection.

They do have a few moisturisers with SPF but the beauty of the daylight defence range is that they have a SPF cream for each seperate skin type.

The only thing is you can't purchase the range seperately from the rest of the Dermalogica products its the whole package or nothing. So I guess you would have to either buy the retail products or as mentioned above you could just use the solar defence booster with your existing moisturiser to increase the spf.

Hi Lynne
Ahava do a sun protection anti aging facial moisturiser in an SPF 15, 30 & 50, they are part of the "mineral suncare" range, not sure if this is what you are looking for but worth a look. Ahava 01452 864574

Well that's part of your research. I just gave you the recommendation :wink2:

Obviously, I work in Australia so the distribution conditions may well be different in the UK but normally a worldwide company will work along the same guidelines. I am a sole practitioner and my opening order is the same as the minimum (working) order which I thought was pretty reasonable. Mind you, I use more than the suncare range but I do know Sothys calculate opening orders according to salon needs and qualifications.

Eurocosmetics UK will tell you all you need to know. You can contact them via here.

I would also rec solar defence booster by dermalogica.

It could also be worth looking at Jane Irdale bases, as these can be applied after MD (we checked this out I promise).
Dermalogica also do an spf30 moistuiser in its age smart range.

Have a look at ultrasun

ultrasun.co.uk

I had a sample from a beauty show last year and was very impressed with it. They had some good trade deals for retail at the time that might be just right for your needs Lynne.
