Hi everyone,

I posted a thread the other day regarding these gels and although everyone was really helpful I am still finding mixed reviews on which of these 2 products is stronger. I want to be able to do overlays as well as extensions (once qualified) but some people say calgel isnt strong enough for extensions?!?!

A quick answer would be really good. As anewbie I really havnt got a clue whats what and what to start with and in the future I would like to offer more than 1 system.

Thank you :D

A quick answer would be no not for all people and i would imagine that would be for both bio and calgel. It is better to sculpt rather than tip they last longer, but at the end of the day they are not as strong as L and P or hard gels so if you have someone who wants long talons or who is not good at aftercare or is heavy handed chances are they are going to have problems.
As for hich is stronger Calgel has one strong gel which you can sculpt with and overlay.Bio has a few different gels to do the various jobs.

Sorry for sounding thick but what is L&P and sculpting?! you can tell im a complete novice to this!! Thank you for your help! :)

L&P is liquid and powder or you may know it as acrylic.

Sculpting is a technique of applying nail extensions. You use a sculpting form instead of a tip and sculpt the tip using acrylic.
