Storms and flooding

Just seen on the news that some places are having terrible flooding,hope everyones ok.Not much rain here so far but it is getting dark.Careful when you go out guys.

we have had a lot of rain but the suns out now.. had to call the electrician out this morning .. my wiring got wet !! he lifted the floor boards and you can see 9 inches of water and my wires floating all sorted now just got to wait for the rain water to drain away.. I don't think my plants will need watering for a bit.... could be worse !!

it looks really bad around the Leeds area, bingly looked bad on the telly .

Blimey, it's dead sunny here. I am getting a headache though, which usually means a storm's on the way. Hope all you soggy geeks are ok.:hug:

All trains into Brum were cancelled this morning 3 hrs it took me too get too work grrrrr!!

Its been raining most of the day here but its stopped now. My hubby works in Wakefield but called this morning to say that some of the roads into town are closed off as they thought the river Calder was going to burst its banks.

Also i have just heard that there is more on the way.

Chucked it down yesterday, the gardens a right mess:irked: this morning was fine, got the washing dry but the winds been geting up for the last couple of hours so I guess we might be in for another soggy night.
Looking on the bright side, we have parking under trees and I swear we have vultures nesting in them judging by the amount of bird poop we normally have splattered all over the cars and this morning they are clean:lol:

OOOh no i heard the weathers awful for the weekend,and ive got to drive up to the Leed academy for training with Academie on Sunday.

Its going to be along journey,and i hate driving on the motorway,with a left hand drive,especially in the rain, i get scared

It's raining so hard in Leeds that it's knocked Hyperion's computer system out ! Just rang to place an order but they're flooded and it had to be hand-written and hopefully can be processed Monday.....

It's chucking down here as well.....!!

well it's been constant here in harrogate for 3 days and it just seemed to get worse from last night. My drive has just had new drainage put in a feww weeks ago but my drive was still flooded this morning! Alot of roads in the area were closed, and my main route home was closed due to severe flooding! Unfortunately i do have an alternative route so i had to come home lol! I have had to cancel a couple of clients today that were unreachable because of the flooding. My hair is a giant ball of frizz.....i tried with the brolly but it is just so dam hard to carry when you have your trolley to pull along too!
It has finally stopped raining but to be honest it still looks very bleak out there, i say bring on the sunshine!!!
