tips for tanning

Hi , Have been reading a few threads on tanning, was wondering what people do or find best. Do you tan the body once or do you do it twice...if so want solution are you using?

Im always looking for ways to improve.if any one can share any tps would really appreciate it!

I use tantrick and i only ever spray once hth

I use Sienna and always give two coats, did the same when I used Tantrick, I do spray quite dry though.

How do you do it and what do you use? :?:

Hi, I use liquid sun by Vani-t. I tend to do two coats.
Just that I went on 2 different training courses and they both said different.


Im quite new to this and want to get the best application I can so any advice or tips would definitely be appreciated!!!!

I have been tanning for 8 years, the last 5 with hvlp and I always do two light coats. The first coat I do vertically (spray down the body) when I have gone all the way around I then tan horizontally (quite quickly as I don't want any runs). I finish with face and neck.

When I worked out of a hair salon I used to do anything between 30 to 60 tans a week, nearly all regulars who were happy with their tans.

The main thing is to make sure you get a consistent routine that gives the body an even covering of tan.

I use Couture and was trained to give 2 light coats. I've found that it always gets a lovely even colour this way.

I use Sun Lab, I do 2 light coats, find it works best, no runs or streaks.

I use Sienna X and spray the body once! Ive never felt the need to re-spray, plau its not really gonna make it any darker just more product, meaning build up and potential streaking and an orangey look!
If I wanted to go darker then I would use a higher %'age.
