Hi guys i am only recently qualified in waxing and to be honest i seem to be struggling a bit with getting the hang of things. Is there a thread anywhere that has hints and tips on the best way to position the client etc? All help will be greatly recieved!! PS. I am not charging my victims at the moment, just practicing!!

PM me if you have any specific questions and I'll help you all I can. Don't worry......be confident. xxx

Thanks, i think what i'm really struggling with is working which way the hair grows sometimes!!! Does this get easier?? For instance under the arms where they grow every direction, i waxed my friend the other day and really i over waxed her and she said she was quite sore after, i she is rather quite hairy and it seemed they just grew in all sorts of directions!! Maybe i just need to do shorter smaller areas??

Take a moment to have a look close up. If they do grow in different directions, they are usually split into three. Down, Up and across the middle. But they may just grown in one or two directions. Apply wax to just a small area until you are confident.

You'll be fine. Don't stress as that's when you'll make mistakes. xxx

Ps, Don't forget to stretch the skin.........and smile.:)

Hi hun, u will get there. Because u have only done a days training it is going to be even harder for u to master the art of waxing. I trained at college for a year and have been in the business 8 years and am still learning now and taking advanced courses to perfect my skills.
Try and concentrate as much as u can on working purely on family hun, that way if u do cause any soreness they will not go and tell every one to avoid u like the plague.
Concentrate on legs first, looking on the backs of the legs on direction of growth, legs tend to be more forgiving than the sensitive areas. Then when you have mastered your application and removale you can move on to underarms, applying small amounts at a time.
Take care hun and if i can help in any way let me no. Good look with your new waxing carear
