When i first decided i wanted to do nails, i didnt really know much about it, just that i loved having mine done and that it looked like fun!
I was out with my boyfriend looking for a massage bed as he does tattooing and wanted a new bed, and we went to a salon who was selling up. She was Creative trained and we were talking about nails, i mentioned that i would quite like to get some training and she said "If you are going to do it, do it right and go with Creative, no point in doing any of the others as you will just be wasting money as everyone ends up doing Creative at some point, might as well do it from the start!"
I spoke to a friend of mine who's mum is a nail tech, she said her mum is Creative trained and that they are more expensive, but worth every penny and the best way to go.
I then decided to go and get my nails done by a Creative tech... I had NSS nails on at the time :o (please dont shout at me!) and she told me they looked like hoofs and filed them down to thin them out and then just in-filled as they were just pinks. I wasn't all that impressed, but i guess she had crappy nails to work with. She was also quite rude... Anyway, i had already decided that Creative was the way forward and wasnt about to let one rude tech put me off...
My Dad paid for my Foundation course for a birthday pressie and now i am just trying to save up enough to do some more courses with them... Fingers crossed... one day i can do them all! lol
