People call it different things, but I have decided to call it the Raindrop manicure. Because it looks like raindrops to me

I would strongly advise pickers not to go there. I cannot stop touching my ring fingers, it's torture trying to refrain, it feels sooo good!

This effect is fab will be experimenting with this.. Lovely x

Gelish Princess Tiara with Vegas nights. Looks lovely in the sunshine!

The basic effect is a matte nail with areas of top coat added which then shine.

To get a matte effect you apply your top coat as normal then lightly buff with a very fine grit file or white block to remove the shine and make the top coat matte, then you add whatever design you want to in top coat - raindrops, stripes, checkerboard etc.. and those areas will be shiny.

I always wondered how you made the matte effect shellac thank you for this! This will be my next thing to experiment with
