This effect is fab will be experimenting with this.. Lovely x

I applied an extra top coat to my finished Shellac, wiped with D Sperse and then buffed using the 1200 side of the Koala. Wiping every now and again to check it was a matt finish.

Then I put a blob of topcoat on a plastic backed pad and used my dotting tool to make the shapes. When I tried this on a colour pop it was easy to get a big swirl, but on the nail I found it harder.

Then I cured and wiped with D-Sperse. As I say, if you are a tactile person and prone to picking, don't go here!! I leave my manicures alone, but this is too much!

They were pretty simple actually, I custom blended the nail bed first then scupted a thin tip of clear in which i placed my crystals then just more clear ontop to build the tip into shape. xx

People call it different things, but I have decided to call it the Raindrop manicure. Because it looks like raindrops to me

I would strongly advise pickers not to go there. I cannot stop touching my ring fingers, it's torture trying to refrain, it feels sooo good!

I always wondered how you made the matte effect shellac thank you for this! This will be my next thing to experiment with

An*Gel, who is a Shellac EA, advises to do two layers of top coat with this effect so that you only buff one layer off and still have the protection of the other layer of top coat.

It is very easy to buff to the colour coat so take care . You'll love the effect. I added glitter to my top coat and so had sparkly rain drops...loved them and got so many nice comments.

I like that they look different from different angles, against different things.
