Whatever skin care i may adapt to,i always without a shadow of a doubt use Decleor balm essential, and aromessence neroli...only to day people commented on my luminessence, and i switched from iris,to neroli, because i wanted a level of more hydration and balance...and neroli delivers this...I had severe acne and my face was like a pizza when i was living in France over 12 years ago now....a therapist put me on to ylang ylang oil and balm ylang ylang...i was so scared of an oil going onto my skin...however my face in 7 days became clearer calmer, the redness dissapated, and i was hooked...i had searched everywhere for something to calm down my inflammed, angry pustular skin...and this worked.
Even now when i have gone on to something and come away from Decleor,i think i will get a better level of result...and then when i go back to Decleor,i get the wow factor...now it is a staple part of my skin care routine, because i do not want my skin to control my life i want to take charge and control my skin!
I am with Martin...and it is so refreshing to meet someone like him who is so passionate about Decleor..for me Aromatherapy wins hands down beacuse it is renowned with Decleor...i could go on and on...!
When a client walks in the treatment room and wants to rectify something in thier skin care and it is so topsy turvy, and sensitised,it is always good to go back to basics...a simple cleansing routine, followed by a problem solver and treatment programme...that way the client is getting the best from you as a trained therapist with your skilled hands, and an integral home care routine that prolongs the treatment process...
I do have to say that the posts that i have read contain the use of water being involved in cleansing, but you have to remember that wtare disrupts the PH balnce of the skin, and using a cleanser and toner will aid in balnacing the skin or increasing hydration in the skin. And for people that may well use soap
...just be aware that on the PH scale soap, i believe is a level higher than ammonia, and just below the ph of chemical detergents...!!...there endeth the first lesson...:green:
