Can anyone recommend a good white polish that dries quickly and doesn't streak
I've tried quite a few inc Creative, Opi, Seche, Orly, Zoya, China Glaze and even Rimmel and Collection 2000  but I find none of them give a nice coverage without streaking and taking ages to dry :irked:
I've got a wedding party coming up soon and have a feeling that most of them will want french with some kind of nail art so it does need to be quite a quick dryer.

Thanks

I'm at a bit of a loss, do you mean to cover the whole nail in white or just a French? I use Opi or Creative for a French and just do one swipe, one coat and don't have a problem. also find that by the time I've done all 10 the first one is ready for a clear top coat to be floated over the whole nail.
If you are trying to cover the whole nail, I've done this with voodoo on the tip for a goth French look then I've found that as with the dark colours its best to do two thin coats with a good 5 minutes between coats. Time wise what I did was had the whole group in, it was for a haloween do and I did one coat on each lady before coming back to the first one for the second coat. Don't know if the Gel geeks have a better solution but at the mo you have me scratching my head on this one:confused:

Thanks Susie, it's just for doing the tips, I do thin coats but it still goes streaky :irked: it's driving me nuts!!

Just for the tip I do one coat, I wipe the side away from me completely of and the side I'm going to use I wipe most of the way down but leave a bead of varnish on the tip. Then I dot the middle of the tip, then left and right corners and then sweep from left to right coz I'm a leftie:lol:

Just a thought, how deep are the whites? I only do a white that is the width of the brush.

When doing french I don't paint across like you describe, I just paint the tip as if I were painting the whole nail but not from the cuticle iykwim? so instead of going across the nail I go vertically, usually about 3 strokes, middle, side then other side, then I tidy up the smile line with scrubfresh.

A HA!!!!
After doing it your way do one sweep from corner to corner and then tidy with scrub fresh. Honest it works:)

Ahhh, ok will give it a go, thanks

Nope, still can't do it! it came out even worse  I must be doing something wrong  Blumming white, I don't have a problem with any other colour!

Essie marshmallow

I'm an Essie marshmellow convert. It isn't a particularly thick polish but smooths out beautifully... my tutor said my assessment french was of a professional standard last week. This was my first one using marshmellow. :)

Essie marshmallow

I LOVE Essie's Marshmallow! Honestly, it's the BEST white polish for a French I've ever used.

I went out and bought it after reading another one of Weezie's posts and I'm so glad I did. It's made my life easier! :)

I use Sparitual, it has a thinner brush than most which is just right for getting into the corners.
