I did a nails naturally course @ Loughton - Essex in june 2007 with Tracey Leja and am still waiting for my certificate.

I spoke to Lauren and woz told that i would receive it before xmas, it's now february 2008 :(

You need to take it up with them hun. However be aware that they are not now an official Creative academy or distributor.

thats what i thought but in this months sratch there is a feature on them and that they have moved premises to Harlow and they are still offering cnd and training. so is this not correct then or are they independent. I also thought that sweet squared were the uk distributors.

http://www.salongeek.com/distributor-sites/61000-cnd-sub-distributors-ambassadors.html

Samantha has listed all of the authorised sub distributors on the above link.

hth's

I have read that thread and she is not on it which is why it is confusing as in scratch it states that she distributes in uk and spain and does cnd training.

She is not on Samantha's list so therefore not a "official" sub or distributor so does this mean the the cnd training is not official.

Hopefully Samantha will see this thread and clarify the situation for all new nail techs looking to train with cnd and what they should do re training as far as Loughton (now Harlow) is concerned.

The best thing to do hun is to email Samantha direct and she will let you know the situation

Im thinking of newbies looking to do training and getting confused.

I did my cnd training at MK.

Hey All - Sandi alerted me to this thread (thanks Sandi).

Firstly, I had a lovely chat with Jenna yesterday and explained why she wouldn't have received the info so that is underway and being dealt with and now she understands the situation, is feeling far more comfortable.

Secondly I am sure it is confusing to see what was put in Scratch but hey, people will stoop to any level so it's no surprise for us to see.

Essex are now distributing another brand and since CND would never allow that with their official distributors, you can rest assured that they are just making a play for it; they are finding it more and more difficult to reassure existing customers that 'their certficates are on the way' and we are getting calls from the Essex area everyday in regards to the problems they are facing in regards to this, the 20% higher prices they are being charged and the length of time it is taking for them to receive goods. Jenna has so far waited 8 months for her certificate whilst being given one excuse after another - pretty sad really.

One would have thought that had Essex been so desperate to continue the relationship with CND, that they would have contacted S2 when the contract was awarded but not one phone call!

If anyone out there training is under the imptession that they will receive a recognised CND certifcate from Essex you are being sadly misled. I have said this before and am saying it again... CND made the decision in July of 07 in regards to Essex... Sweet Squared are the contract signed distributors for the UK with subs in MK, London, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ellisons. We will happily alert everyone if any more subs are added but these subs (including us in Leeds) are where CND can officially be puchased and education done (as well as the gorgeous Ambassadors and their academies around the rest of the UK).

I hope this helps and am sorry that it's confusing. It really isn't but there are those out there trying to make it more so!
Thanks!

I telephoned CND last Thursday and they said the closest training (nearest to me) in Essex was Kent or London.

oh Jenna

hope you get it sorted soon

The whole article in scratch is a joke and is quite unbelievable when you see the faces that have gone over to the dark side,
more fool them,
i wouldn't want to work for a company that has the history and uncertainty that goes hand in hand with that company (wont put the name just in case it causes problems),
oh well never mind it is our gain for definite to have Sam and Samantha at the head of CND distribution now

I thought we were the dark side lol! I'm confused and bemused as I don't have Scratch.

Onward and upward....sometimes you have to do what you have to do, but keeping your customers happy is paramount, in any business.

Glad that Mrs Geek has sorted this out, and I am sure it is a big relief to Jenna!!.

I think people seem to get the time line a bit off though.....as surely in June 2007 Loughton still was a certified CND training establishment so surely there should not be a problem in getting certification.

It was only at the end of July that things went dark !!!

Obviously since then it is a whole new ball game...and I too was very confused at the item in Scratch!
Still I am sure that S2 are on the ball and will get everything resolved.

As for EzFlow.....how can we be in the dark when we have Time to Shine LOL:lol:..........sorry couldn't resist!!
