Hey guys,

I'm just a week off finishing my training with Young Nails and I absolutely love it (my exam is next Monday :Scared: so fingers crossed )
I was just wondering if anyone else here uses their products or did a course with them?

I only use Young Nails and I have completed their courses for gel, sculptures, nail art, reverse application, flawless french, infills and loved every one of them!!!!!

I have been using Young Nails for the past year, (since probs with Hypenium) and love the products. I use the L&P, Gel, Lomasi creams and lotions etc. etc. and have thismorning I have put the Mani-Q on my own nails to see what its like(so far seems great). Have not so far done a training course with them, but their customer service/backup is excelent, and clients also get on well with products.

I only use the protein bond form Young Nails, and I have to say that I'm realy happy with it

There are a lot of Young Nails geeks on here....and the Scottish Young Nails Educator 'Sparklybits' is often here on site.

I use Young Nails Products really like them, tried others but always go back to youngs and the reverse application method
I love the extreme whiteness of the white

I also use the cremes and lotions along with Mani Q of which I did a reverse application using it!!!!!!

well im no expert here im like really really really green :green: but are you sure its just the protein bond not something to do with your prep, product application or the length of the enhancements?

I had problems with lifting before I used the proteinbond, I realy think its the best bond there is. I dont know why it doesnt work for you perhaps there is someting wrong with youre prep

If you have done all your prep correct and you still have lifting props I learned a little trick from Greg Salo... Try putting another coat of the protine bond on the nail plate so it looks like it has a sticky coating on....

I always use this method on client who have oily nail plates and have not problems.

Hope this helps

hey i'm the aussie young nails educator and saw you discussing protein bond. It is to used after swipe which is your prep product. Protein bond acts like an anchor for your enhancement to adhere to. It creates a double sided sticky tape effect on the nail plate therefore lenghtening the like span of your infill.

nelle, welcome i met you in sydney along with many many more people.. hehe i had a nail done by you and guess what !!! its still going strong.. lol i was the one that had the boyfriend waiting for me and writing notes..

thanks im doing a course next month with one of the girls..

I Jes yes the protine bond really works. When you are doing your prep make sure you are removing all trace of cuticle from the nail plate before you etch. When you have completed the etching make sure you remove all debris from the nail plate and use swipe.

Then apply protine bond, a little trick i learned from Greg Salo is if the Nail plate soaks in the the protine bond put a second coat on so that the nail looks slightly stick this usually works for me, especially if the client has an oily nail plate.

Hope this info helps:hug:

I've used Young Nails products for years I love synergy gel and I use it to teach with too. I think Young are fantastic and will continue to teach with them as there is something for every tech wether you like to work with thin or thick gels. For beginners the powders are Fab also and I have ALL the glitters and coloured powders in the salon!
