Hi All,

I currently charge £18 for a pedicure & £20 for a french pedicure, which takes approx 1 hour (sometimes a little longer depending on clients hard skin etc) I do also offer luxury pedicures with heated booties but these arent very popular.

I really would like to put the pedicures up £2 to £20 & £22 but just would like to know how much you all charge for your pedicures & what area you are in? I am in East London. Do you think this is too much? I know that with the summer months pedicures will become more popular & £18 for an hour treatment - it doesnt seem much? Especially when I charge £15 for Callus Peel which is just hard skin removal taking 30 minutes!

I really would appreciate any advice & comments

Hi Emma

I am in West London and i charge £21 for pedicure and £23 for french. I also do Luxury with paraffin wax and i charge £28 for that as that is about 1 1/2 hrs. I think you should put your prices up in line with what most things are going up. : )

Hi.
I'm in Essex and use Jessica, I charge;
£12 for a clip, file & polish - 20 min.
£16 for a mini ped (foot file, foot massage, nail shaping, polish) - 30 min.
£23 for a ped (foot spa, foot file, exfoliating scrub, foot & leg massage, cuticle work, nail shaping, buffing, polish) - 1 hour.
£27 for a luxury ped (as above with heated boots - 1 hr 15.

I dont charge any extra for french.

I would say that the most popular foot treatment asked for is the 1 hour ped.

I put all my prices up by £1 last month. None of my clients have noticed..but I have!

Gx

betwwen £18 and £28.00

THE £20.00 seems to be the most popular i did 4 of them yesterday !!

Gawd Girls all your prices seem so little.
Are you in Salons or mobile?
Considering the hour it takes and the good quality product you use and the skills it takes to perform a decent Pedicure in my opinion you are not charging enough to barely cover your costs.
Are these average prices locally?

I am salon based in the heart of Edinburgh:

file & polish - 13 + 3 if they want french

rejuvenating pedicure - 28 + 3 for french

minx toes with pedicure - 45

gel polish with pedicure - 45

:D

Babe I think you are too cheap! You are welcome to have a look at my prices on my website x

Thank you for all your replies,

I have taken the plunge & increased my prices my £2 and added that to my website & emailed over price change to the printer for my next lot of leaflets.

The bit I hate is letting the clients know, guess I better get some posters printed to put up in my room & the shop!
Do you think I should pre-warn them ie "Pedicure prices from May are;" or just write "Pedicure Prices" and not mention that they have gone up?

Mrs O - How much do you charge & why are you based?

Please increase your prices, as a very wise nail tech once said to me...do you want to do 3 hours of work for £60 or one hour's work for the same. My pedicures start at £50 and that is a basic pedicure which includes no mask or scrub. I am mobile and I work in a spa.

When you are using the amazing products that are available out there and have put such effort into creating a relaxing atmosphere and providing a meticulous service, you must charge a premium. This is how you separate yourself from the plethora of 'nail bars' popping up everywhere. You will lose customers at first, but you'll retain the ones that value your service and you'll gain some new clients who can afford your level of service.

This is of course just my experience! Other geeks may say otherwise. But I hope this helps.

Ladies....
I havnt done my pedicure yet, but im saving to do it at the northern college of beauty, its £150, which i thought was a bit expencive to be honest.

You have all made me feel better about booking it now and skipping a bill lol xxx Looks like i can book my course, and start making decent money immediately!

Thanks for the inspiration!

Shelley xxx
