If you are honouring all the vouchers then you should take £7k off the asking price (unless that was already discounted to allow for them). That would be normal practice anyway.
It looks fine for all the essentials but do you think maybe you should add something about aftercare at the bottom? Like 'I agree to adhere to the aftercare advise given by my technician' or some people add that repairs within a certain time frame are free and any additional will be charged at X...
My St Tropez rep said that Ellisons would be having their own reps to deal direct with salons. Feel bad that all the St Tropez reps were let go though. Pz cussons want to concentrate on the retail market :-(
To the original poster if you have been out of beauty for a while could you look for a different role to ease yourself back in such as front of house or sales etc? Sometimes there are very rewarding and different roles available in salons that aren't hands on but where beauty experience is...
Have you told your employer you are pregnant? I think it depends completely on the individual. We have had many therapists working through their pregnancy. Most have cut down to about 3 or 4 massages at most from as soon as they said they were pregnant and have stayed at this level as long as...
That's terrible if someone has used it twice! Was it a computer print out type voucher or an actual voucher with a perforated section?? We accept lavish vouchers as well and haven't ever had that happen but we always ask for the voucher ref number when making the appointment. It's possible it's...
Hi,
You don't need to do a conversion but level 3 doesn't necessarily include everything in HND and I think is equivalent to HNC. Most colleges in Scotland do HNC/HND so that is why the adverts normally use that. We have 4 salons in Scotland and out of 25 staff 7 have level 3 instead of HND...
I think if you don't have a clientbase the only feasible way to start up and make sure had enough custom would be a room in an established and busy salon or maybe a room in a gym or health club so you had enough footfall. Otherwise you would have to spend a LOT on advertising if you have no...
Okay. I was just thinking if it is one of the big brands that a lot of them now do online training which would still contribute to your cv and give you the product knowledge.
Also there could be a valid reason for it as I know that with Elemis who we use they are changing their facials and...
Hi Laura,
Have they provided you with any in-house training in the products? It is very difficult for salons as well we have almost 30 team members so to send everyone on training can be incredibly expensive. Have you been with the company for a while? I think it's reasonable not to do...
We had a similar situation last year. The red lead stopped working, no current the same as you. We were told the same that the leads aren't part of the warranty. I asked to see the paperwork we signed and they showed it me and sure enough in the small print it said that. We had to pay for new...
I think it is going to be multi function so it is going to have micro current but be able to do other things as well. I don't think even the reps have full details yet as its still being developed.
Yes there is a machine coming out but our Rep said it doesn't look like it will be available till next year. It is going to be optional so you can continue to do the facials manually or purchase the machine.
Does anyone know what colours are included in the Shellac Gold Rack and Te Love Shellac Package on Sweet Squared?
Already do shellac but need an extra lamp and quite a few colours so thought it could work out cheaper with a package.
Thanks.
The way I do it is 28 days holiday (including public holidays) for full time so for part time just divide it by full time hours and multiply by 28.
Therefore 22.5/38 x 28 = 16.5 days (INCLUDING public holidays).
You can do it based on weekly instead...
Yes I agree. We changed a long time ago from weekly to monthly but gave at least a month's notice. Otherwise you could change to monthly payroll but advance some for the first month so it isn't too difficult for staff to manage.
A lot of people prefer monthly as easier to manage their own...
